The name of this planet was given to it by the scientists manning the research outpost here, because of its appearance to an 'underworld' they have been damned to.

This is another volcanic world, dangerous to navigate due to the ash clouds that cover the surface from view, and the tall mountains made of nearly indestructible rock that cover most of the surface. There is plenty of volcanic activity, but it is mainly from small lava tubes and vents, no volcano reaches over fifty feet high. This planet is also home to Beryllium Crystals, a super-condensed form of Hydrazine, three hundred percent more effective, and is not volatile like its distant cousin is. There is a small outpost here manned by the Empire, but it numbers only a dozen souls, trying to work out safe ways to mine this new resource.

This planet is even more dangerous then Volcanus, due to extremely high temperatures that exceed the highest safety levels.
