I didn't like the Clare and Jake thing, only because she's full of drama... and because their parents were dating and I knew it was gonna end up with marriage.
Alli is supposed to still be with Dave... isn't she? Or did I miss something? o-o

I don't exactly prefer anything that has to do with Jake. They just make him a brick in anyone's relationships don't they? I'm not saying he's a bad guy, but it just seems he was put there to cause trouble and not really have his own thing going on. He's just there to throw a wrench into everyone's lives and cause issues. I don't mind him and Clare breaking up, but I don't see a point and sticking him with Alli now. It just makes both of them look like bad people. Going after your ex's best friend, your best friend going after your ex; To many that just isn't going to sit well. Shugotenshi001 Alli is supposed to still be with Dave... isn't she? Or did I miss something? o-o Dave told Alli his parents didn't want him dating her, and that they should just take a break and see what happens when she comes back.

I didn't really like Jake much either. It may be me being biased because he's a new character out of nowhere in the midst of some of my favs. >.< And About the Alli and Dave thing... I really should pay more attention to the new episodes of Degrassi instead of trying to play the game at the same time. XDD

Ah whenever I read you guys opinions on the characters I start thinking that I can't judge people for my life DX
I actually don't prefer any couple. I like all of them because they're all different and cool.
And personally I just think Jake is normal like the rest of the cast, but I do hate Clare. Breaking Eli's heart and causing a bunch of drama -.- and I don't even think she wants her own mother to be happy. She only cared about her relationship with Jake. Like, her mom just got divorced after being cheated on and now she finally becomes happy and Clare was like, "I don't care about you're happiness I just care about me, me, me."

I feel like Dave and Alli we're great together, even if her parents didn't agree on them dating.
Yet ... I really didn't like Claire+Jake ... it ruined Claire+Eli ... WHICH IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE COUPLE scream
But yeah. Jake is just the annoyance in this situation. talk2hand

to be completely honest; I have no problem with Alli and Jake. They can do what they do, I just seriously hope Clare doesn't go out with Eli. Clare is dramatic, annoying and way too inncent for Eli. Eli needs someone more of a rebel but has common sense, and knows when to put her foot down. He needs someone to help him with his issues; and Imogen is doing nothing but playing with his emotions and making him look like he needs an exorsist.
First of, what the hell?! Jake just comes out of no where -- Being an Ugly Pantsy that can't even keep his damn clothes on -- and wedged himself into my favorite characters. I don't care what he had said to Eli about him being messed up... because he is. But I do care how he treats him with disrespect.
Then he starts dateing Clare. I don't like her. I don't like him. Them together just makes me angry, and I get chest pain (Not Really.) Then they're parents are getting married, and Clare's mom had the nerves just to tell her stop dateing him. As a mother; your child's happiness comes first. Always. A mother's love for her child should be undying; so wtf Ms. Edwards? It's not always about you. Clare then gets all dramatic and sh*t with Jake. And she says the samething she always say when in a break-UP, "What About Me?!" THE SUN DOESN'T RISE AND SET FOR YOU SO SHUT UP.

I agree with you on not really liking Jake, but I don't not like him enough to make my chest hurt. neutral Jake treated Eli that way because of how Eli treated him to begin with. He didn't get disrespectful and angry until after Eli tried to break him and Clare up. If anything, Eli deserved how Jake treated him, and even Eli realized that and he accepted it in the end.
Clare has been pretty dramatic lately but honestly I can't blame her entirely for that. Yes she's been acting that way and upset when she says "what about me", but that's mainly because no one has really cared what she does want.
Her parents stopped caring about what she wanted a looong time ago. That is nothing new. They didn't care how the divorce was going to affect her until she had gone over and starting acting out, and even then it didn't matter.
Eli going and doing things behind her back isn't good either. It's a way some girls are. If you do and do something behind her back, she probably wont want to go along with it. It's a personality fault, but it's not something you can entirely blame her for. Eli shouldn't have gone behind her back to her mom and did all that. He should have just gone to Clare first. That was a mistake on his part and made Clare feel like what she wanted didn't matter because he didn't even consult her.
Then when she wanted Jake, even Jake let alone her mom didn't care what she wanted when he knew his dad was marrying her mom. A mother and child's relationship goes both ways. A child should always care about what their mother wants too, considering the mother usually does just about everything for them nowadays.
Not every time can it work both ways though, especially in this kind of situation, and as much as I don't like making Clare out to be a bad person, some of the stuff that happened she didn't help stop. Her mom couldn't help what happened with her dad, he cheated on her. Clare contributed to her faults so I believe her mother deserves happiness more than she does, because her mom was hurt after being faithful and trying to make things work the best they could, but it was just too much. Losing someone to another woman that you've been married to for a long time is a lot more devastating then losing someone you dated for three monnths (Eli) or someone else you probably dated even less (Jake).

I completely understand what your saying. But I was referring to the way her mother said that they had to stop dateing. She never said simply, "Well it can't continue like this." or " I'm sorry but it's already been planned out. No. Instead her mother said flat out "Stop!" I'm not going to say she's a bad parent; I'm just going to say, she needs to watch what comes out her mouth. She's setting out bad examples. She just looks like a fat b*tch on PMS.
&& You made me realize, that nobody really doesn't care what Clare wants. She's just so damn annoying. It pisses me off.
&& at the end of the day, Eli really dd try to break them up and I understand his anger. I would have told Eli straight up in his face that I Will Beat him Down if he tried that with me. But then Jake was disrespectful in a way where the kid was just asking for an a** whoping.
P.S. - I don't really get chest pain. I was being sarcastic.

Well considering how her long time husband completely crushed her heart and committed adultery I wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows either. Though I do understand what you mean about how she said that, but honestly when you're in shock, you don't think about what you say. The way Clare just blurted that her and Jake were dating out wasn't any better than her mom yelling at them to stop their relationship. Obviously she said it to rile everyone up, which I put her at fault for.
And I can get that. Clare is annoying. Though she's always been like that, even before when she her, Conner, Alli and K.C. were a group. She doesn't handle situations any better then she did back then, and I guess she's having a hard time growing out of that and trying to be better.
I'm alright with how Jake was with Eli, because everything Eli was doing was just something you don't do. Jake already has relationship issues; he didn't need Eli coming in trying to screw everything up. It was an added on stress that he couldn't deal with, so that probably pushed him to being a huge a*****e to Eli, so I just can't fault Jake for acting that way, but I understand how you feel.
I was thinking that. I would hope no one really got chest pains from a show. xD

Truly, I think Ali was in the wrong with kissing Jake and he was in the wrong too because of Claire and Ali being best friends. Best friends don't do that, especially when there friend isn't over that guy yet. I however, don't think that Claire and Eli should get back together, there are just too many issues, I liked Claire and Jake
