Zankuro's office and living space. While this is her office, everyone is welcomed to come in at any time... circumstantially.

Just another day in the life of a Soul Reaper. Everything seemed pretty boring what with just lounging in her office all day. Since the old man retired nothing really happened around here. Strange as it sounds, Zankuro almost wished there was something to do around here other than paperwork. Lounging in her seat she had it tilting on two legs with her legs up on her desk, sipping from her decanter of Sake. Yes, she was just sipping for now. Happy hour didn't officially start until five or six.... probably.

...Suddenly, a shift in the air pressure within this room got very intense.rumble... BOOM, CRACK... It changed so drastically that if there were windows open, intense gusts of wind would rush into the room and send s**t into a disarray. It was then that the image of man appeared. There, in the center of the room, was none other than Hitsauke Yujimura holding two broken zanpakutou. His clothes were so ripped and damaged that his inner thighs and entire upper-body were exposed completely, leaving only his private areas clothed. A battle was fresh on his mind, but he wasn't sure what he had gotten into. Anyone with common knowledge of what had been going on in the soul society for the past 3 years knew what he was supposed to be doing at the time of his disappearance, but no one knew the details.
It wasn't until this very instant that anyone had actually seen, felt, or heard Yuji for all of 3 years. His back was to the commander, and his spiritual pressure was pumping hard. Even though it was weakened and on a steady decline from when he first appeared in the office, it was still very aggressive and in the process of bringing the office down to ruble. It was then that Yuji turned his head and spotted the current commander out of the corner of his eye. Yuji's eyes began to narrow when he looked and saw that old man Yama wasn't in that chair. "... What's going on here?" asked Yuji. He turned to face the woman, but as he did, he lost over more than half his spiritual pressure. It was leaking from within his body due to some severe injuries he had.
There were random slices everywhere, but the one that looked to be causing the most problems was on his abdomen. It was dripping on the floor as he went to walk toward the unidentified commander. His vision was even beginning to blur. He grasped his mid-section after dropping both his zanpakutou and fell to one knee. With one eye open, he attempted to make out who that person was, but it was no use.Yuji was indeed on his last legs, and the fact that his powers were jammed up for so long made it so that he couldn't easily control his body.

"Nothing save for a few changes. Three years have passed since your departure Taicho and many things have changed. For starters, in your absence I was made Taicho until your return. The woman standing before you has taken Yamaoto's place."
The monotonous voice came from directly behind Yuji but if he of course would know who it belonged to. Only his vice would dare to get that uncomfortably close. It was like she had no personal boundaries at times, though that was far from the truth. She respected everyones personal boundaries...except for his that is. Folded neatly in her arms were fresh linens she had gathered when she sensed his imminent return and it was now that she offered them to him.
"I would suggest calming yourself. If you do not get the medical assistance you need, you will certainly be worse off than you are now."

Sou-Taichou was merely minding her own business up until someone up and decided to run appeared in her office with untamed spiritual pressure. It made her eyes widen because it was so sudden, but she wasn't completely shocked by it. Soon after, a figure appeared in her office, all scarred up, tattered and seemingly exhausted. She'd stared at the man long and hard with stern eyes, knowing who he was right off the bat. Hitsauke Yuji. He upped and disappeared three years ago, making their meeting a little awkward.. to say in the least. Luckily for her there were no windows to shatter, but once his reiatsu flared again Zankuro's decanter shattered in her hand. Her eye twitched in aggravation. "Oi oi, calm down already, sheesh.." Zankuro hadn't forgotten his question either. But when she was going to answer Oujo Shan kindly waltzed into the picture.
"Yes, as Shan-FukuTaichou says, Yamamoto-Taichou has retired leaving me in charge of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. I'm Masurao, Zankuro-Sou-Taichou." She stood from her seat and walked over to Hitsauke with an obsidian butterfly landing on her fingertip. She'd muttered something along the lines of requesting assistance from the fourth division and sent it off. "I suggest you listen to your Fuku-Taichou." She assured the man, kneeling before him, but kept a safe distance from him. Zan glanced up at his vice captain with arched brows. "You'll take care of him won't you?" She asked, hoping that she'd be able to tend to him while in the fourth divisions quarters. By the looks of it Zankuro was going to be doing more paperwork today... Lots more. She had also hoped that he'd be able to cool his reiatsu soon, since there was no way anyone if the fourth division was going to be able to help him when it he would put a normal, average Shinigami in pause.

Yuji's thought process was all but ordinary, what with his life force withering and all. He still had some strength, so when Shan appeared behind him, his logical reaction wasn't at all that logical. He shook in surprise when she approached. It wasn't until she got really close that he made an evasive action. The captain darted to the left, leaving his resting spot so that he could defend himself in need be. While in this state of confusion, the captain was capable of being a very big problem for the entire soul society, more so to himself. In his current condition, a successful attack of high enough magnitude would end his life. He knew that much, so he prepared for a final attack, or so he thought.
His attention was pulled away from Shan and back on to the commander. The words they both spoke were obviously clear and understandable, but he heard nothing but low tones due to him being close to death. Yuji stood up and opened his palms wide. He was preparing to call for his zanpakutou spirit, but the sudden in-take of energy was far too overwhelming for the captain. Luckily, before he could summon his shikai, Yuji collapsed to the floor in a puddle of blood.

"No you go, BEFORE MY FANGS FIND YOU!" Lavender colored hair and red hues could be seen starring out of the corner. No need for a firm grasp on his zanpakuto because this captain was already close to dying. However, he wasn’t familiar with this captain and through the midst of things it appear as though he was about to strike. That very someone that was about to come close to being struck down was his only friend here so far, so that wasn’t going to be an option. Like any wolf, Koinu was ready to protect a member he considered to be apart of his pack. When the first initial dodge was made Koinu had sprang into action with a sudden and blur movement.
Obviously, a mere shunpo but it wasn’t to strike down the fellow captain but merely as a defensive shield to the vice-captain of the sixth division, Shan. When the signal of windy spiritual pressure began to build up, Koinu placed a hand to the hilt of his zanpakuto and a low growl could be heard tearing through his lungs. This captain was going to release his zanpakuto in the presence of a vice-captain and the Sou-Taichou herself? His delusion would only grant him a death Koinu did not want to follow through with but would. The purple locks flew up on end giving Koinu a beastial look of protection. Even his facial appearance gave off the impression that he had fangs. However, much too his liking, violence would not be needed. The captain collapsed to the floor in his own puddle of blood.
Koinu eased his tensed feeling and looked towards the Sou-Taichou nodding and looked back to the fuku-taichou present leaning in close to lick her face and made his way back to the door. He contemplated one thing, if he should take the man to the fourth division or wait for the medical examiners to arrive. The Sou-Taichou could make the call. "My bark doesn't add up to my bite!"

Yujimura was behaving like a wild animal, what with him making sudden movements and even going as far as grasping the hilt of his blade. Zankuro merely remained in her kneel, watching as Ookami-Taichou appeared on the scene with the immediate reaction to protect Shan. She watched with agitated crimson eyes until the man finally collapsed and drifted into unconsciousness. Quietly she stood and leaned on her desk, nodding her head lightly from left to right. "Yare yare.. So troublesome." She sighed, looking over at Shan and Koinu. Koinu was licking in her face, a confused face forming on her features for a moment before snapping out of it and giving an order. "Ookami-Taichou, I'd be very much obliged if you took Yujimura-Taichou to the Fourth Division for medical attention. Seems they won't make it here in time after all." Said the scarred up woman scratching the back of her head.
She turned to look over at the sixth division vice captain with a gentle smirk. "You'll see to it that he stays alive okay? I have a thing or two to say to him when he recovers from all of this..." Her voice had grown a tad bitter towards the end of her demand. She crossed her arms right beneath her bust and closed her eyes.

Yuji was out of it. His body was beaten, his energy completely depleted... there was nothing certain to him but a soft quiet death in the silence of his own stress free slumber. His eyes would peel open slightly every 3 seconds or so until his consciousness was completely gone. With that, the captain's spiritual pressure danced down to almost a non-existent amount. This? was merely the spiritual pressure that his zanpakutou's spirit was reserving. Had he not found his way to the first division on pure instinct, Yuji's long reign and legacy within the 6th division would be ending on this day.
