The clearing was.... well clear. Not a single person was there and nothing seemed out of place at first glance. The wind was calm, the trees still. The day was lovely and warm at the moment. All was truly at peace, at least in this one location. That's how it always was here in Division Three, or almost always was.
However, at second glance, a trained eye would notice something. A shadow, a rather large shadow. It was no menacing creature, but rather the shadow of a giant fan. Up in the sky on said fan was the Third Division Captain, Shu Kyoraku. Any who knew him would instantly know he was probably asleep, perhaps sunbathing. Oh well, that's where he was. Chances were he would come down when he noticed something.
