I'd like to audition for FreedomClan Deputy. Taintedsoul. Deputy FreedomClan Taintedsoul glanced over his shoulder at the rest of the hunting party, his paws moving swiftly amongst the undergrowth until he came to a halt to taste the air. His bright blue eyes searched the area before he got into a crouch, seeing a nice plump mouse sitting at the stump of a tree. As he crept forward slowly, his licked his lips before lunging and grabbing the mouse before it had a chance to run away. With a bite to it's neck, the mouse was sacrificed for the Clan. Taintedsoul picked the mouse up in his jaws gently before digging and burying it, making sure no other predators could get to it. An apprentice bouced over to him with a squirrel, showing him. Taintedsoul chuckled as he rested his hind down, looking at the apprentice. "Well done," he said, catching their eye. As they walked off, bouncing with glee, he stood back on his paws and continued. His eyes rested upon a thrush, but it flew away before he could even crouch. With a slight sigh, Taintedsoul trekked off in a different direction.
Gaia's alignment is pissing me off...

Solarstar, HopeClan leader:
Solarstar padded through his territory hoping to get a break, it wasn't even sunset yet and so much had gone on today. First when he woke up he had to break up and apprentice fight, then he went hunting with his best friend, Runningheart and they found a badger who attacked them. They manged to get away without too serious of injuries but Runningheart broke his paw. That was around sunhigh. Then after that the same apprentices that he had to stop from fighting got bitten by a non-poisonous snake and they were acting like they were dieing. Now he was taking a walk by himself to clear his head.
This was his first moon as HopeClan's leader and he was determined not to mess it up. He had barley been the deputy for a moon when the previous leader died so he hadn't had a lot of experience. He twitched his ears hearing some cats hissing. He ran towards the sound and realized he was at the border. There was a fight going on,he sighed, this was going to be a long leadership

Name of Cat: Pantherstar Position Wanted: Leader Clan: SoulClan
Roleplay Sample:
A shadowy figure stalked through the forest, the canopy of the trees blocking out the most of the bright sunlight that was shining. Her paw-steps were quick and determined, her electric yellow eyes sparking with some sort of emotion. Other paw steps could be heard behind her, which belonged to the rest of the patrol she was leading.
The border patrol had went well. Nothing was out of place. All that was really needed to be done was to re-mark the borders, which they did of course. And, they had done something extra. HopeClan has been looking and acting very weak lately. At the past Gathering, those skinny little kits could barely keep awake, it seemed. And their borders had scents as stale as half a moon in places. Something was obviously happening within their wind-swept borders, and the shadowy leader would not pass this opportunity up.
Pantherstar and the rest of SoulClan was ready for new territory. The Clan was growing and healthy, and they needed (and deserved, of course) the extra space and prey more than the weak-willed cats from HopeClan. She held her head high and proud as she walked with these thoughts in mind, her legs finally carrying herself to her camp.
She trotted towards the large black stone that was the Soulstone, and jumped gracefully atop its peak. Her pure black pelt blended into the rock as if she was part of it. The only thing that stood out were her bright yellow eyes, and at the moment they were wide with passion and pride for her Clan. Kits were playing outside the nursery, apprentices were practicing their hunting crouches, warriors were sharing tongues near the fresh-kill pile, elders were dozing in the sun, and the medicine cat was sorting through herbs. SoulClan was strong. And soon, all three other Clans would know it.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Soulstone for a Clan meeting!" she yowled, her voice echoing across camp.
Immediately all SoulClan cats looked up, gazes young and old, and padded underneath the ancient stone to loyally listen to their leader.
"I have news for you, my fellow Clanmates..." Pantherstar said, her voice filled with a proud determination. "As all of you who went to Gathering may have noticed, HopeClan, is weak. Their pelts hang off their skeletons, and their voices quiver with sickness."
SoulClan cats all around rippled with both excitement and curiosity, nodding in agreement with Pantherstar.
"And now is our time, SoulClan. We are thriving and strong, which means only one thing..." Pantherstar continued, looking upon her Clan with pride. "We take what is rightfully ours. In a moon's time we shall move the border with HopeClan twenty-five tail-lengths. We need the extra prey and the extra space for this noble Clan. If anyone has any complaints or concerns, come to my den at moonhigh."
But all of SoulClan yowled in agreement, their tails lashing and their eyes bright. Pantherstar nodded in satisfaction, then jumped back down to the floor among her Clanmates. Comments of "Long live Soul Clan!" and "Pantherstar, Pantherstar!" rang out throughout the clearing.
Pantherstar padded to her apprentice Rowanpaw, who was glowing with excitement and pride for his Clan.
"Are we really going to expand our territory?" he asked excitedly, his paws bouncing.
"Weren't you listening?" Pantherstar growled, looking at the ground. She then looked back up with a satisfied smile, then continued more softly, "Yes. Which means your training shall intensify until you're in top condition to fight. Come. We start our increased training schedule now."
Her loyal apprentice nodded quickly and fell in step beside her, the two trotting out into the reaches of SoulClan territory. And all the while, Pantherstar's aura was glowing.
SoulClan's name shall ring out in both fear and awe for generations to come...all shall know of our glory...

Tigerstripe SoulClan Deputy Why in the name of StarClan was he picked for this? He wasn't built for this, heck, no cat was! Tigerstripe was a cat from SoulClan! Not from HopeClan! He didn't have the long legs like they did, so he couldn't out run dogs for StarClan sake! But maybe that mouse-brained leader didn't understand this? Tigerstripe was at fault here just as much as the leader. He could of disagreed, it would of been much easier, but he didn't. Why? Because he was a good warrior. Ha. Right. He just wanted to show the Clan his skill. He wanted to be more then just a warrior. He knew a lot of cats did, but he was craving this. Not for the power or anything. He wanted to help his Clan, do the best for them. He wasn't going to go insane and plot to kill his leader or something like that. Tigerstripe would probably feel guilty beyond belief by doing that. He had always questioned how cats int he past could do things like that and act as if they didn't care.
The fowl breath of the dogs behind him hit his nose, much stronger then it should be which could only mean...They were catching up! Dung! he thought. He was focusing too much on other things. He needed to focus on this or he was dead. The brown tabby tom unsheathed his claws digging them into the ground to give him a bit of an extra boost, but he didn't know how much that would help. He could see the clearing coming up, the one he was suppose to lead the dogs too. Thank StarClan! He was getting close! If he was further away he knew he probably wouldn't of made it. The dogs were nearly on his tail. He could feel the slight tremble in the ground from were there paws hit the earth. The young tom took one mighty leap and he was inside the clearing. He twisted his paws in the earth and shot off to the right side ducking inside of a bush just before the dogs bolted through the clearing. Cats flooded out from all the bush's around them and attacked, Tigerstripe among them.
The muscular tabby latched his claws into one of the dogs under belly and sliced down causing ribbons of blood to spray onto himself and the ground. Other cats had gone for the back of the two dogs some the legs. They were to short to reach the muzzle and face of the two dogs so they settled for what ever else they could get there claws, or fangs, on. The fight seemed to go one for a bit, the dogs tossing cats off there back picking them up in their mouth, while the cats cut and bit into them. Tigerstripe thought they wouldn't stop but one of them let out a small yip and took off, the cats that were on it jumped off, and the other dog fallowed. Tigerstripes amber eyes watched them go before looking around at the wounded to make sure none were dead, or all that hurt. If they were he would have to race back to camp to get the medicine cat. So far everything looked fine, cats were injured but nothing life threatening. His eyes lit up happily, they had defended SoulClan and protected the camp successfully.
