Through out her life in the human realm her shoulders were weighed down with high expectations. From her family, friends and especially her parents. Encouraging her to do the best in everything she did or not to do it at all. Straight-A student that if received anything lower would be the end of the world. After graduation she was able to get into the school of 'her' dreams. The one that her father wanted to get into but was rejected years ago. Med-school had been draining but also worth it since she was able to pick her department. Those five years of med-school dragged on until she was finally out and completing her two years of internship under a pediatric doctor. She adored working with children the most, even if it saddened her to see them sick.
It started during her schooling and became worse as time dragged on. Her skin became a bit paler through time and almost had a deathly look about her. Most blamed her light hair and eyes as to why she looked so ghostly white. It turned out she was terminally ill. This had been kept a secret as long as possible. Her condition became worse through out her internship. Why did this happen to her? She was going to be someone successful one day and this interrupted her plans. While working with the children she was suddenly shadowing under a different doctor. One who worked with cancer patients. They were so brave and you could say it rubbed off on her. Naomi learned to appreciate the small things in life and be thankful for certain things that she overlooked before. It didn't matter how successful she was, nor how much money she would make. What mattered were all the life's she touched and helped before she passed from her illness. Even if her life was short, she enjoyed every moment and she died peacefully with no regrets.
