Personality: Before Katashi's 'accident', he was known to be one of the snobbiest of nobles. The Ukitake name was dragged through the mud because of his arrogance and attitude towards those who weren't as fortunate as he or his family. This, of course, earned him quite a scolding from other members of the family. Katashi was also blatantly rude to people he would meet but only when he isn't with his wife Naomi. Around her, Katashi tends to hold back enough to where she isn't completely repulsed by his personality.

Post-amnesia Katashi will be developed over the course of the role play.

Physical Appearance: Katashi - Yes, he makes his own attire. Well, his wife does.

Biography: Like many soul reapers that preceded him, Katashi was born in Rukongai, one of the more lawful districts. He was raised as an Ukitake noble and as such, was given a lot of opportunities others did not. This way of life shaped Katashi into a snobbish oaf to the point where those in his age group developed a hatred for him. All but one. Naomi Hakada. She became the only person, outside of Katashi's family, that genuinely enjoyed his company. They did everything together. She was even the person that convinced him to join the Shinigami Academy. With his last name, many expected highly of him and he delivered to some extent. Though, his personality kept him from earning the same type of respect and recognition as the Ukitakes that joined the Academy before him.

Both Katashi and his close, personal friend, Naomi progressed through the Academy at roughly the same pace. Though, Naomi exhibited more potential than Katashi and by the time they graduated, they were accepted into the Gotei 13. Katashi into the 13th squad and Naomi into the 4th at a higher seat than him. Three seats higher to be specific. But Katashi did not fret. Publicly. Deep down, he was a little shamed to be less skilled than his close friend. He kept his resentment a secret from her and to this day, hasn't told her about it.

Decades would go by and Katashi finally reached Captain status of squad 13. More good news came at his ceremony when he proposed to Naomi and she agreed to marry him. Life could not get any better. To some extent, that was true. Once reaching the peak of happiness, the only direction to go is down.

It all started as a routine expedition to Hueco Mundo to scope out the eerie tranquility that had consumed the birthplace of hollow-kind. Katashi, along with several other shinigami, ventured to the depths of Hueco Mundo when they were ambushed by a gang of Arrancar. At this point, Arrancar were presumed to be few and far between since the downfall of Aizen's reign, but contrary to what Soul Society believed, their numbers didn't seem to waver all that much. Katashi's group was overpowered and undermanned to escape such a battle unscathed. Not only did Katashi lose his men, but he also lost his memories. When he finally came to, he was in a hospital bed...in the World of the Living. Without any recollection of how he ended up in the hospital or even his identity, Katashi seeks to piece together the shattered remains of his memories.
