+ Feel free to chat with new members at anytime here inMadness I'm a pretty mellow guy (others call it passive but w/e) I think I just am real easy going and soft-spoken. I'm not really a social person. I have a few friends but other than that I like to keep to myself. I'm a total nerd, a testiment to me working towards a career in animation, but I am true to it. Life is a gift and I think its a waste to try to create and uphold an image to make moving through society easier.
Right now, I'm balancing a somewhat budding music career with a nine-to-five. Working on some art projects and writing on the side. I've always been a man of many talents but few niches; I just do what I do and go with the flow.
I'm real easy to get: I'm quiet, but kind. A great person to vent to. I shy away from most social situations, and typically stay my voice unless my opinion is asked of. Still, I'm not without my scrupples; I'm ruthlessly stubborn when it comes to my belief system and moral foundation and typically need more than the weight of someone else's opinion to sway my own.

So I'm a college/High school student who's as much of a geek or nerd as our darling Maddy~
My plans for the future involve me going into Graphic Arts and Animation, After hopefully getting a graduate degree.
I have a passion for collecting music, and though I can sing, I can't play at all (believe me I've tried, and failed)
Roleplaying has become my current passion, going along with my art. I've been roleplaying for five years now (don't quote me on that) and I've come to love all genres, assuming a decent plot is involved.
I generally roll with the flow in life, and over the years, I've developed a bit of a tough skin to most things. If you want any more details, feel free to send a pm. (Not my address you, those of you in the gutter)

Hello, my friends.
I am Colin, an otaku who has only really been getting into some good stuff in the past few years. I am a college student and currently broke for most intensive purposes (but at least I never have to worry about food while enrolled here).
I don't tend to be a social person in public, preferring a secluded environment, contrary to my desire for companionship. As well, I have a somewhat bad habit of adding my own opinion when it may not be wanted or joking at the wrong time and ending up seeming either stupid or callous when really I just hadn't been thinking or sleeping lately (don't always take me completely seriously).
I enjoy writing in my non-existent free-time which is taken up by, anime that I should watch, updates on web-series' that I like, updates on web-comics I like, updates on anything else I like, and the few forums I am on. So then I write if I ever have time, after my basic real life work and all that extra stuff.
I have little actual want or need in life. I can be contented with the basics I would need to survive, and live a happy life. Though, I do have a great desire to find a lover to spend the rest of my life with, though my non-scocial personality makes it unlikely that I will find anyone.
I love vampires with a passion... Though twilight 'vampires', I personally despise with a passion, but that is more the series as a whole. A romance novel should be far better than such a bland and 1-dimentional piece of filth. Given most of them are also terrible, probably just the fact that it makes a mockery of two of my favorite things and is somehow successful that irks me.
Oh, and I'm a bronie, recently recruited to the herd. Show's actually worth a look, it's real good.
Okay, that's about all that I can think of at the moment. If anyone wants to know anything else just PM me. I look forward to some interesting Roleplays with everyone.

Heya!
I'm Caitlin, I'm in high school now studying pretty normal boring stuff so far. I think I'm a nice person, if not sorry. I love anime and manga! You would always see me watching an anime at home and reading a manga at school. I've been role playing for about a year and a half now, I think. But I absolutely love it! I like all types of genre, so I'm up to nearly everything. I'm actually quite a shy person at start, but once I get to now someone I just keep talking, I just can't help myself.

Hello all.
I am old, let's leave it at that. I've been on Gaia for years...and years. I'm a professional and quite busy in my personal life with my family as well as with my career. However, I fill what free time I have with writing. I hesitate to call what we do on here roleplaying, I feel that is more of a D&D activity. To me, this is writing. I've been associated with some really superior writers on Gaia that take their character development and plotting seriously and objectively.
I am working on several personal writing projects of different genres which I might post some pieces of on here for input if you wouldn't mind. I like mystery, historical fiction, romance and some fantasy (but only the really well done variety, obviously). I do hope to get some work finished and published, but that is the dream. I'm excited to do NaNoWriMo this year. I have a humorous fantasy tale idea selected to do for it, so I'm anxiously awaiting November.
I ride horses, so I have a lot of knowledge in that area and often have to resist from making all of my characters expert horsemen/women because I love it so. But generally I'm really good at seperating myself from my characters.

Kon'nichiwa! I'm Xx_littlebrokenbird_xX but everyone just calls me Birdie. ^w^
So um yeah, guess I should just start saying a bunch of random stuff about me. Like the fact that I love candy and anything with sugar in it. I love the sugar rush! Yeah, hyperness is my thing. My friends tell me I'm pretty crazy but I'm also funny and sweet. I like helping people out and cheering them up if I can. I don't like sad faces. I guess you could say I'm a shoulder to cry on and I'll always try to be there whenever I'm needed. Oh! And I love random friend requests! The more the merrier!
My philosophy is to live, laugh, love, and dare to be different. I'm not afraid of being creative and thinking outside the box or just trying something new! Although I'm not really good at much...but I believe I am a decent writer. You better expect some great posts from me because I give 110% plus mine come in all kinds of colors! Squeee, awesome right?! Warning, you should expect randomness from time to time. Hmm....what else should you know? Oh yeah! I'm in high school and trying my best to survive the childish drama. So far so good! I enjoy reading, all types of music, singing, photography, hanging with friends, and making memories. I should also mention that I'm a pretty silly southerner so sometimes I might start saying things like "ya'll" or my favorite phrase "gosh golly"! Well that's pretty much all I can tell you for now. The rest is hushity hush business! Top secret! ;3 But if we ever become super great friends, then you'll probably figure it all out. It'll be tricky though for I am quite a complicated cookie.

Well, for the sake of not wanting to pronounce my name, the world (on the internet anyway) will call me Essy. xD
I'm eighteen, dropped out of highschool at sixteen- but then graduated highschool at seventeen- because I'm awesome like that. I've been pitter pattering around trying to figure out my next move, however, stipulations has made that seemingly clear bridge become a fogged death sentence without railings to guard any hope for a safe passage...
But I have my writing to make it all better.
Oh, and if you ever need the position of an antagonist/maliciously devious/etc etc character, shoot me a PM, chances are, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

Well, hello all. I always feel like the first line should be catching, but never is, so I'll just skip to the basics. My name's Cara. I can go by that, Kala, Sarna, the RPing person in that one thread I'm in, I really don't mind. I'm older than I'd like to admit, working steadily toward my degree in Civil Engineering, and have too many horror stories about college, so I'll move on. I've been RPing online for eight years.
I tend to come off as a little cut and dry in non-RPing simply because I'm a sarcastic person and that doesn't come off well in text without abusing italics till they bleed. So if I step on your toes, my apologies, I probably didn't mean to. Let me know if I did, so I can avoid doing it again. I have a bit of and 'Engrish' problem, where my grammar will be passable but my word choice is a little wonky. If at any time you feel like I'm not being clear enough, let me know so I can clarify. This happens mostly when I'm writing inner dialog for my characters.
On the more positive side, I'm supportive and helpful, a rather straight forward person. The only time I beat around the bush is when I feel the conversation may hurt feelings in a way that's just rude on my half. I like joking, open environments with smaller groups of people. I'm good company, and I've been told I'm pretty good at giving an unbiased opinion. Bantering is my favorite past time and I am full of useless information.
I love to do a lot of things people here have already show interest in. Music is a great escape for me, and while I can play a little of a couple instruments, singing is far from my calling. I love to draw, and should I ever get involved deeply in a RP, I will probably ask to start drawing scenes. I just got a drawing tablet, and while it's not the best, I can now clean up my work much easier. I write a lot and have three story lines that I absolutely coddle like kittens. I also love reading, but you kind of have to like it to enjoy literate RP. And Minecraft. Love me some Minecraft.
I play a range of character types, have no care about genders, and love running RPs (I'm working on two right now). Good guys, bad guys, one guy, four girls, just give me an interesting plot, a good reason to quickly attach myself to the other characters, and I will love it forever.
Um... I think that's more than enough. Sorry if I rambled a bit, I'm sick writing this. I might go back later and thin it out.

Hello everyone! I'm Becca. Everyone on GaiaOnline, however, normally just calls me Fwenchie or Toast. Easy to remember and goes along with my Username. Simple enough? I thought so. I'm a 15-year-old female who's a sophomore in high school. I've been RPing for so long, I can't even remember the approximate amount of years.
I've been seen as the quiet kid nobody ever really realizes is there until I speak up. Which, according to my friends, is rare. On the other hand, I'm also seen as spastic and frightening. Once you get to know me or I'm in a more comforting setting. So, I've got my depressing posts and my peppy posts. My ups and my downs. My stoner and my cheerleader.
Yes, I did just go there.
Music is my getaway in this horrible hell-hole of a positive place. I miss my hometown where you had to be aware of your surroundings because down the street there's a meth-lab and rehab apartment across the street and all sorts of other trouble. A change from sirens several times a day to sirens twice a month. Oh how moving several miles can change everything. Theres that and the fact that my step dad is a jerk. I play piano. I do ballet. I sing in Choir. Performing Arts is my go-to for anything and everything. When I read a book (because it's so great! I love reading!), afterwards I always ask myself how it could be incorporated into a movie.
I love to help out others, which is well displayed in my Gaian life as a happy Captain of two Guilds, Crew in three, and VC in several more. Woot! Sadly more then half of them never really took off because my friend never sent invitations, and it totally skipped my mind. Then she quit, never handing down the guild. FANTASTIC! You see what I did there? I took my share of responsibility, learned from it, and recognized I made a mistake! Hurrah to children's education... and online quotes.
Anyways, I'm already in three-too-many RP's so I'm going to very picky on which RPs I choose to join. Sorry, but it's how it's got to be if I'm ever going to make it past s ophomore year. inMadness, I'd just like to share with you that while looking for decent RPrs to send Invites to for my own RP guild, I found you! Lol :]

I'm not very good at introductions so whenever I join a Guild I tend to avoid actually doing so but since we're required I suppose I can try and tell you all something about myself. I'm not all too fond of saying my name only because I don't like it so all of you can call me Rin.
Like most of you, I enjoy writing and I may not be awesomely awesome at it, but it takes me away from reality for a bit. I love any kind of fiction but I like focusing more on Fantasy, Romantic Comedies and a bit of simple Romance. I do like the occasional horror and mystery as well as action but too much of that will drive me crazy since my characters I choose seem to be a bit wacky.
I'm on Gaia a lot simply because I don't have much of a life. Occasionally I won't be on when I actually get to out with friends or family but that's not all the times. I'm sure my life will get pretty busy when I head off to college soon but that's not till later so no worried about that. I do take my writing seriously and I plan on writing novels in the near future. In fact, I have about five unfinished stories at the moment but I've lost track of most so I can't go back and actually try and finish them. I do have one in particular that I will actually try and publish and I liked the story so much that I made it into an RP but it died easily since many RPers simply became inactive. Even so, I plan on finishing the novel within at least two to three years when I have free time and what not.
Pathological Kisser is one hell of a writer and I can normally write as much as she does in a post or even more but that's only when I'm not lazy. Most of the times I'm too lazy to go past six or seven paragraphs. If I ever write a simple paragraph in any of your RPs or my own...well now you know why, though I will never post only a paragraph.
Anyway, before I loose track and go on a tangent, this is pretty much me. See you all soon! I'll be out and about in this guild looking for things and probably work on a RP I want to create.

Heya! I'm Duchess Rhea, though I go by Rhea. I'm a girl (obviously), and I've been on Gaia for roughly 6 years. roleplay is one passion of mine, since I've wanted to be a writer for the longest time. However, my biggest dream is to become a film actress.
About my personality... Uhhhhh... I dunno what to say. sweatdrop I can be quite talkative sometimes, and on the other hand, at a loss for words. Some say I'm a bit naive about a lot of secular stuff (I blame having home schooled all through middle and high school), but I'm working on that!
As for my rping style, I like nice, long posts. I write it 3rd person and past tense, and no other way. My posts generally are 5 or more sentences long. One bad thing is that if I don't know what to write, I'll either write a half-assed post (which I try to avoid), or I don't post at all until I have inspiration. And sometimes that means I might not post for a long time. Which really bugs me.
Anyways! Yeah, that's about it for me. Nice to meet y'all! mrgreen

Well this is a pleasant surprise, good evening everyone. Name's Kawada S. What does the 'S' stand for? Well right now it stands for 'Superfly', though that may change whenever I feel like it. I've been on Gaia since oh, 2005. Wow that's a long time. However, around 2008 college got in the way, a lot of the long term RP's I was in fizzled out, and I simply lost interest in RPing. Four years later I finally remember my password and felt like Rip Van Winkle. All the guilds I was in closed, most if not all my friends ended their account, and I found out some of my items are worth quite a bundle.
I considered closing my account as well. Then I decided to have one last RP romp and checked out a random literate RP guild. After browsing for an RP that interested me I finally found one that got the old creative juices flowing (Thanks Fwenchie! Everyone should click the link in her sig and check out "Forever Until Death" it's an awesome RP with lots of potential. It's still in the beginning stages so feel free to give it shot!). Then all at once I felt a wave of nostalgia hit me. Sleepless nights crafting the perfect character profile, constant refreshing to see if someone posted a reply to my post, and for the first time in four years I found myself writing fiction again after my creativity was snuffed by college (Damn you biological sciences!).
So I decided, what the hell. I already graduated and between job hunting and grad school applications, I got some time to spare. So here I am, a 22-year-old post-grad male with nothing better to do. Who knows, maybe I can finally finish something I've failed to do for the past five years, Na-No-Wri-Mo.
And this is the part where I run out of things to talk about. I could talk about how much of a nerd I am, but I figured since I'm posting in a literate RP guild, you all would've figured that one out yourselves. Anyways, I'm rambling now, so I guess I'll cut this short. In conclusion, nice to meet you all!
