Type of body (build): Zalina is an average height for a female, and she is very slender- though she is very sturdy. There is nothing very remarkable about her build, other than the fact that she is slender- though not underweight.
Distinguishing mark or features: She doesn't have any distinguishing features, other than a few barely noticeable scars scattered over her skin from simple accidents during her life. However, a feature that greatly distinguishes her is not one of appearance- but one of the mind. Though The girl rarely speaks of it herself, Zalina has a photographic memory.
Appearance: [Picture above] Generally, she wears a black jacked with face fur around the hood and sleeves too long for her arms. She wears a shortish black skirt and knee high black socks and simple dress shoes- almost like what a school girl might wear. In her hair, she wears a simple black ribbon, this, Zalina always has on- with the exception of when she is bathing. When she is working or on duty, she wears the common Shinigami garb along with her usual ribbon.
XXXXXXXXXApart from clothing, Zalina has deep olive green eyes that are said to be brought out by her long strands of white hair. As well, her complexion is a slightly darker tone, but still very much white.

Food: Despite being French, Zalina's favorite food is actually Italian- Pasta [of any sort] with Alfredo sauce.
Hobbies: Playing various instruments (Piano and Flute being her favored, though she can play nearly any instrument that is put into her hands), cooking, jogging, star-gazing
Hates: Being slowed down/held back, being the center of attention in large groups- though Zalina can handle it if need be, she still greatly dislikes being the main focus of many eyes.
Habits: Her habbits include: Over-thinking things, pacing, and staring into space/zoning out (of course she had never once zoned out during a battle), switching languages at 'awkward' times, etc (other habbits will show themselves during the RP)
Greatest Strength: Zalina's greatest strength would probably have to be her photographic memory. This, of course, means that she can instantly- and permanently- remember anything she sees, hears, or reads. In battle this skill can become incredibly useful. When fighting an opponent, Zalina can learn, memorize, and interpret their movements. This allows her to guess/foresee what her opponents will do next- basically she can memorize their fighting styles. Her photographic memory is also a great asset to her team- it allows her to remember important information (like codes or even names and places) as well as her team's fighting styles- this allows her to foresee what they will do and act accordingly.
Greatest Weakness: Zalina's greatest weakness has to do with her past. She cannot remember her life before her death. There are little flashed- just tiny bits and pieces and flash into her thoughts briefly. Little sound and video 'files', really; but as Zalina tries to grasp the memory- it flits away. This is her greatest weakness. If forced to try and remember something, Zalina's mind gos haywire. It causes a burning, gripping, headache to sear through her mind. All other thoughts are pushed away and the eerily familiar blank, white slate forms. It can rattle her so badly that her muscles freeze. Of course, if Zalina ignores the questions of her past, at times, her mind stays relaxed. Most Shinigami know not to question her past- but of course that is not all.
Soft spot: Her soft spot tends to be when someone is playing an instrument/singing or attempting to even. She'll try to help them improve their skills and in this way- she sometimes makes new friends. Like many girls, however, she has more than one soft spot. (even if some she does her best to hide.)
Biggest Vulnerability: Zalina's biggest vulnerability also has to do with her greatest strength. Zalina's memory- though a powerful and mysterious thing- can also be erased or 'pieces' can go missing. If the girl suffers some great injury or trauma, parts of her memory can slip away/be locked within the recesses of her mind.
Background: Zalina was a nearly perfect child, from a close to perfect family. An adorable little French and innocent girl was what Zalina had always been, until one thing... one crucial moment in time changed everything.
It began as a seemingly perfect day, a regular boring Saturday morning. The nearly-rich girl padded down the marble tiled flooring of her home and entered the salon (living room) she flopped down on the leather sofa and flipped on the television. She viewed the channels for a while and flipped the television off just before the news began to talk about a serial killer... in her area.
Later she'd gotten dressed and was heading out with her mom for just a simple day trip (her father was away on business). The sun was bright and shining as they headed back home after the long day; though it was oddly quiet for an afternoon. The two girls took the forest path back to their home.
It was quiet, much to quiet, not even a bird made a sound. Zalina pointed out a man on the path ahead, her mother shook her head saying that the heat must have been playing with Zalina's mind, that no one was there. Her eyes widened, there was no way that was possible... "Sorry little girl..." the man... no... creature hissed. It shot forward, a blade extending from it's arm... blood splattered across Lina's clothing and face. She turned her head, the only sight that greeted her was half of her mother... A silent scream tore from her throat. The creature slipped past Zalina, licking up what was left of her mother as it moved. It turned and gave a sickening smile to the girl, "You can see me... you are special," it gurgled. By that time Zalina's legs had given out, she stared blankly at the creature, mouth agape. Her mind was filled with such trauma, the even her photographic memory created a 'corrupted file' of the moment within her mind. Her mouth moved, but no sound left her lips, Don't leave me like this... she mouthed to the creature, but her eyes were blank, almost unseeing. The thing ignored her and vanished. In Zalina's mind, everything went white...

How do they relate to others: Zalina tries her best at relating to others. She tends to be shy when she first meets someone new- especially in large groups- but it doesn't take her long to open up and be herself.
How are they perceived by strangers: She is perceived by others as being a calm, level headed young woman. Zalina would come across as being a hard and diligent worker and fighter.

How do they react in a crisis: In a crisis, Zalina instantly becomes fully alert- even if she was insanely tired not even a moment before. Her senses are heightened- especially her sense of hearing and sight. She clears her mind in moments and quickly asses the type of situation they've been thrown into then she plans and reacts accordingly.
How do they face problems: Zalina does her best to react calmly to problems. She organizes her squad if need be and tried to figure out what the source of the problem is. Of course, like everyone, she can become easily stressed if she is pressured with too many things.
How they react to new problems: This Captain reacts very well to new problems. She can use the memories of photographic memory to come up with a plan or a way to overcome the problem. If need be, she can figure out a way to organize her troops.
How they react to change: For the most part, Zalina reacts well to change. She simply goes with the flow, and accepts the new ways. Though there are times where she has trouble getting used to changes that have top do with with patters or routines that she has become incredibly accustomed to. With this kind of change, it usually takes her a day or two to get used to whatever the change may have been.

Zanpakuto name: Kurasshutai
Zanpakuto sealed Appearance: Zalina's sealed Zanpakuto is a nearly completely black long-bladed katana. On the hilt, there are splashes of blood-red fabric weaved into the black threading of the hilt's grip.
Shikai Appearance: The Shikai

Shikai Abilities: The shikai form of her Zanpakuto can allow Lina to use water as a weapon. The water in this form is mainly drawn from the air itself and any bodies -or sources- of water nearby. She can form it and strike with it as her will. The released blade can up her stamina and agility a bit. She is able to use a mist of water to temporarily conceal her movements. Zalinacan use her reiatsu to give her something like wings of water, they allow her extra mobility when not on the ground.
Bankai Appearance: The Bankai
Bankai Release Command: Awaken, freezing tide!
Bankai Abilities: The abilities her Bankai give her are like an upgraded version of her Shikai. Some of the differences are that not only water, but ice she can also use to her will. The source of the water is drawn from the sword itself, as well as Lina's reiatsu can form the moisture, one last place, the water can be drawn from the air, where moisture tends to always reside. Her speed becomes amazingly fast, and her reiatsu becomes more intense. She can use the mist of water to not only conceal her movements for periods of time, she can also use it to mirror herself, making it near impossible to locate the real her. Zalina's agility becomes quicker; more precise. Of course the Scythe-shape of her Bankai also has benefits in it's own way. It is very easy to block with, and also difficult to block. With her skilled and trained hands, Zalina can wield the Zanpakuto with finesse and grace.
