Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2011. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

NFL Time Again!! Oh how I am Overjoyed with the long waited return of Football. Time to get started with the weekly picks, lets get things started with a BANG!!

Pittsburgh at Baltimore- Fact, the Steelers are defending AFC North and Conference Champions. Fact, I did pick them to repeat as division champions. But I still expect the Ravens to give them a run in the division race and expect them to at least split their series. And if they do, no better time to get that win then week one at home.
WINNER- BALTIMORE RAVENS

Seattle at San Francisco- There is a lot of promise in what Jim Harbaugh brings to the Bay area. But with a lock out that prevented him from working with his players officially til July, this year will be rough on him, and as a 49ers fan have given him a free pass for this season as a result. That said, 49ers crushed Seattle at home last season, they edge them out on Sunday.
WINNER- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Dallas at N.Y. Jets- Two teams with lots of playoff potential. One just wants to get into the playoffs after a disappointing start last year ended their chances. The other, anything less than a Superbowl appearance will result in a wasted season. Will be a good game that will test the might of these two teams with high hopes, but I have to give the edge to the Jets.
WINNER- NEW YORK JETS

New England at Miami- I had to think hard about every game on this list... except for this one. I'm not looking at whether the Patriots win or loose, but by how effective Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco will be. A weak Miami team will be a good team for them to break them in against, but I'm still not sold that they will help the Pats return to the Superbowl.
WINNER- NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Oakland at Denver- In my preseason predictions I predicted that Oakland will finish third, Denver last. After analyzing their preseason games more, that is the only prediction so far I am regretting. Denver is looking better each time I watch them, not great, but they seem to have that extra drive to win. Oakland talks of playoffs this year, and I think they will be this season's Dallas.
WINNER- DENVER BRONCOS
