Kadô, born in the midst of summer, and the son of Suteru Haruo and Suteru Amami. With no siblings nor any younger cousins, Kadô is as of yet the only heir to the family's fame and fortune.
As their surname suggests, the Suteru (to throw away) family is famous for their toy industry... toys which revolve around throwing, such as balls, boomerangs and even a throwing card game they invented (Nage-Nage Kadô Gēmu).
His father, Suteru Haruo, wants Kadô to focus on the family's business and continue to develop and ultimately take over the industry... rather than being a ninja.
Kadô grew up to be a laidback yet an energetic young man with supreme intelligence, which is hidden beneath his careless and casual expressions.
During his early years, Kadô had grown fond of his grandfather, Suteru Kodai, and his sleight of hand and card skills. Trying to teach himself all of his grandfathers' skills, Kadô found that the tricks he had shown weren't simple tricks but actually ninjutsu.
Being as laidback as he is, Kadô has been slacking in the academy and this is proven by his lack of attendance and flunking grades. This may be due to his grandfather's recent death.
Swearing upon his grandfathers legacy, Kadô has decided to honor him by mastering his sleight of hand skills.
Setting the stage for his future, Kadô finds the brilliant idea of how to adapt and develop his family's industry and to augment his own ninja skills... by enhancing the family's card game.
