The Owner's Daughter

The only child of the previous owner of the ranch. Ever since her mother's death, she has been trying to run the ranch on her own, not wanting to lose it. She seeks constant help and advice from The Western Riding Teacher who is like a motherly figure to her ever since her mother passed. She is a skilled horsewoman and is an expert at retraining and rehabilitating horses. Some say that she can actually understand the horses and see into their souls. But that's just what people say. Some people underestimate her due to her age, but she's just as experienced as the professionals. Her childhood friend is The Stable Hand and the two get along very well. She is fully dedicated to the ranch and its horses and will fight to keep the ranch, no matter what.

She's been here since the ranch first opened. She was close with the previous owner and her daughter since it was originally just them. She's considered second in command of the ranch but also teaches all the western lessons. Ever since the mother's passing, she's moved into a spare house on the ranch to help out around the place. Her and The Owner's Daughter have grown extremely close since the mother's death and she watches over the girl in a motherly way. She is also a very skilled horsewoman and never says no to a chance to work with the horses. She occasionally assists in rehabilitating horses when she has free time. She's a top-notch teacher and can be extremely hard and firm but knows how to get the best out of a rider. This ranch is like a home to her and it would break her heart if it had to be sold.
The Jumping Teacher

She joined the team a few months back when the previous jumping instructor left. Her college friend, The Dressage Teacher, recommended her to the current staff and she was quickly hired. She's slightly new but is quickly catching on to the way things work. She never met the mother but The Dressage Teacher has filled her in on what she needs to know. She's an excellent jumping teacher, even if she is still young. She has a very caring touch to her teaching and hates to yell at the students. She sometimes clashes with The Western Riding Teacher over different things but the two manage to get along most of the time.

He joined a few years back and has been working ever since. He is a very understanding teacher but is known to get firm and slightly harsh at times. However he has a good heart and would never do something to hurt a horse or rider. He is good friends with most of the people at the ranch but he has known The Jumping Teacher since college. He was the one that recommended her to the others when the old jumping teacher quit. He was good friends with the mother and was sad to see her go. He hopes that everyone can hold for what is sure to be a bumpy ride.

He's been riding since he was a little kid. He loves horses and loves spending time at the ranch. He's a hard worker and will always do what is asked of him. The Owner's Daughter is his closest friend and she was the one who got him hooked on riding. He was there for her when her mother passed and will stand by her no matter what. Some say he has feelings for her but who knows if that's true or not. He took the job as a stable hand to help out around the stable and to simply have an excuse to be there. He is a skilled rider and doesn't back down from a challenge. He considers the ranch his home away from home and would hate if it had to be sold.
