Shoe Clips, Sash, BootsYesterday, Gaia updated it's EI, Master Alchemist. This neo magician themed item is reminiscent of the Anime/Manga: Full Metal Alchemist. This week's evolution includes blue accented shoe clips, a matching sash, and black blue accented boots. This item is available in the cash shop for 499 Gaia Cash, or roughly 5 USD. This item provides many pieces of clothing, accessories and items that could all go together well nicely with any light themed magical themed avatars, whether it be mages, magicians, witches or wizards. However, this EI has failed to garner solid items that could be the central piece of an avatar. This put's it's 499 price into question. If this item continues to be an EI full of minute accessories, the price should be lowered to about 249 Gaia Cash. Overall a good item to add to add to avatars with a solid base.

Novice Collar, Novice WimpleAlso, Gaia introduced a new branched EI: Sainte Ciel. The two branches are the Eros Path, and the Agape Path. Both represent love, with Eros representing the side of lust, envy and sexual seduction, and Agape representing self sacrificing, thoughtful, unconditional love. This contrast comes out in the items. Eros showcasing dark colors in it's items, and Agape showcasing light colors in it's item. I love the contrast of the items. Giving the users a choice of path is always a good thing. So far this item caters to both male and female Gaians, providing a collar and a shawl/veil of sorts.
