Blackpaw padded into the Apprentice's den and sat heavily on his moss before falling asleep. He dreamed of the Dark FOrest. "Come with me, and we'll huert all those carts who make you mad." Evilstar mewed. Blackpaw walked with the cat, dazed. He nodded at everything Evilstar said and was bound to him, making it so he had to do everything Evilstar said. Then he woke up and ran outside, searching for his mother. His first order was kill her.

Sparrowpaw got up from his nap after Blackpaw had kicked him in his stomach. He grunted and followed him out of the den, catching a small glimpse of fur and a strange scent, before whirling around again and leaving the den with his fur on end.

Firepaw yawned and was surprised to see it was sunhigh. SH eleaped up and raced out, collinding with her mother and falling down. "Moonfire!"
"Firepaw!"
Moonfire immediantly started grooming Firepaw's pelt, ignoring her protests. "Mom! What's up?!?!"
"Warrior!"
FIrepaw immediantly stayed stock still, and Moonfire finished. Then they heard a bark and raced out into hte camp.

Smokepaw pulled all the old moss together and pushed it out of the den, grumbling to herself about a stray thorn. She pulled the extra fresh moss from a corner and stuffed it into her nest. She shook the extra snow fromand shook the snow out of it. She shoved it into her nest as Brackenpaw came in carrying more moss.

"Next time we need to be more careful," He meowed to Smokepaw after setting the moss down. "I was really hoping to go to the gathering too."

"Yea, I've found a better place for next time, you'll love it. When will we go out again? We'll have another Gathering in a moon." Smokepaw meowed, kicking damp moss off her paw and taking some from Brackenpaw. "I'm going to go grab some fresh kill, I'm hungry." Smokepaw dashed out of the den, then back in, carrying a sparrow. "Here, the feathers will be nice in the nests." she dropped it next to Brackenpaw and started to eat.

Smokepaw stood up and meowed, "I'm done, and I need to go take the elders fresh kill, then I'll bring us some more moss." She charged out of the den.

Brackenpaw watched her charge from the den with a sense off longing. Silently he laid down and curled his tail over his nose waiting for her return.

Smokepaw charged back in and meowed, "They're back from the gathering, come on!!"

Standing up Brackenpaw shot out of the den before Smokepaw.

Smokepaw limped into the den with Brackenpaw. "I guess we'll have to wait for tomorrow until I show you the new place. I'm not going out tongiht, especially if I'm about to take a poppy seed." she meowed and she prodded her nest into a comfortable position.

Brackenpaw laid the poopyseed at her feet and began to get his nest ready. He had no intention of sleeping in it though he wanted to make sure Smokepaw got to sleep soundly.

Smokepaw licked up the poppyseed and laid down in her nest. "Come on, lay down!" she meowed as Brackenpaw continued to prod at his nest, "That looks comfortable enough!!"
