Desert Resort
DESCRIPTION - A large, barren desert, where nothing really grows and nothing really thrives, save for the rather odd Pokemon that live in the area. Though the majority of the Resort is nothing but sand dune upon sand dune, the north of it is host to the Relic Castle - the long deserted stronghold of an ancient civilization. It is a location of great psychic power, with Sigilyph, Yamask and Cofagrigus all found roaming around the vicinity - it's even said that the lonely vigils outside the Castle have some kind of psychic ability, though you apparently need a candy bar to draw them out. To each their own, one supposes.
LOCATION - Located in southwestern Unova, the Desert Resort is just south of Skyarrow Bridge and Castelia City, and can be accessed through Route 4.
PEOPLE - Given that the Resort is a barren wasteland, full of nothing but adapted Pokemon and sand, you'd expect it to be pretty empty - but no! People come from far and wide to feel the desert heat, catch a Maractus or simply ooh and aah at the Relic Castle. Archaeologists, researchers and even villainous teams have all been known to show up at the Resort, all searching for something different.
PLACES OF INTEREST/EVENTS/RESOURCES -
Relic Castle - The ruins of a once-mighty civilization's stronghold, the Relic Castle is Indiana Jones' wet dreams all rolled into one - sand traps, Pokemon fossils, illusive and rare Pokemon, corridors that don't adhere to the laws of physics . . . what more could you want? Even the statues outside are quite interesting, if you know how to provoke them properly.
Desert Resort - A barren and arid wasteland, you won't find much here save for the odd item someone's lost in the sandstorm, or a lonely Pokemon patrolling its territory.
MYTH/LORE - It's said that the Yamask and Cofagrigus that populate the Castle and Resort were once inhabitants of the civilization that resided here many hundreds of years ago.
