Once upon a time the lord of the demons was locked in a cage. He was the devil himself, but this cage was so strongly built that no one could break it. It was a joyous day for humans and angels as the demons slowly began to crawl back into their holes and almost disappear. While supernatural creatures still roamed around, hunters found it easier without the threat of Lucifer. But! What happens if a foolish little human trapped in Hell stumbled upon this cage. The whispers of a great power and his hearts desire tempted the foolish human to open the gate and accept the devil into his body. Now that the devil is free what will happen? Demons walk the earth once more, making deals and causing chaos. A prophet wrote down in her books that the only way to over come all of this was for two hunters to join a half angel and half demon to battle with the king of demons and force him back in his cage, but the question is, will the group of four that are spoken of arrive in time to save the world as we know it?

Aiden shut his locker softly as he watched the normal high school teens pass by him. Narrowing his eyes he couldn't help but feel jealousy toward them. Normally going about their day, not a clue about the real world that surrounds them. What he would do to live that life. To know that he wasn't a total freak and go to parties or raids. The young half-demon let out an irritated sigh as he held his math book in his left hand, walking toward his math class with a bored expression.
He could hear from a great distance away, which he always knew was weird from his first day of middle school when he heard the teacher mutter the answer under her breath and her surprised face when he blurted it out. In the distance a girl was talking to another one. "he's so mysterious..." "I know... and hot.." He couldn't help but groan at the typical teenage gossip. That was embarrassing...

Cass looked around with a frown that she always had on her face. She couldn't help, but feel annoyed and sad that she was completely ignored at school. Shoot, she was practically invisible to everyone in the school. She was sure that if she ran away no one would notice, but then again if she ran away she'd never get into college. Cass looked down at the drawing that rested on top of her books as she continued to walk along slowly and calmly. Just as the passed by Aiden a group of guys bumped into her without even realizing she was there. Cass glared at them and if she knew what power she had, looks would've killed.
Ryan walked along in broad daylight. She was following the trail of a vampire. It had 8 victims by now and Ryan was silently yelling at herself for not discovering the job earlier. What she was doing right then was leaving her scent everywhere so later that night the vampire would come after her, but boy would it be in for a surprise. She had a trap in an alley that would trip a net and once the vampire was distracted, she'd chop off it's head clean. It was an easy enough plan.

Aiden stopped walking as he looked at the girl who fell in front of him. He cocked an eyebrow at the guys in front of her. "Well?" He asked, folding his arms and giving them a glare worth remembering. "You just knocked down a girl. The least you could do is help her up." This surprised the guys because Aiden rarely ever talked, and when he did it was usually when he was talked to, not the other way around.

Cass quickly scrambled to snatch up her things before standing up quickly and brushing her jeans off. Cass looked at Aiden for a second before quietly saying, "It's okay." Most people didn't hear her when she talked so she just looked down expecting Aiden to not hear her. Normally no one even noticed or cared enough to say something about her getting pushed over. It was a regular thing after all.

Aiden cocked an eyebrow. "No, it's not okay." He replied with a sigh, but said nothing more as he frowned. "...interesting..." He muttered under his breath as he realized that the girl had a certain strange aura about her.

Cass looked up at Aiden, surprised that he even heard her, but didn't say anything or show that she was surprised. Cass held her books to her body tightly and looked at Aiden with calm eyes. Something seemed off about him. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she definitely wasn't normal, that much she could tell.

Aiden said nothing else, feeling a bit awkward about the situation and began to stalk off, hoping not to have caught the girl's notice too much due to his realization of her being a bit non-human. Work was within walking distance, and he had to go to the diner.
Caleb let out a sigh as he walked toward the diner. He was supposed to meet Ryan there soon about the hunt, but he wasn't too sure on what she'd reply with or if she'd even show up. "Pft. Woman."

Cass watched Aiden walk off calmly, still feeling something off about him. After about 15 minutes Cass followed the exact path Aiden took by following his aura. She didn't know how she could tell her had gone that way, she just knew. Cass stopped near the dinner and sat down outside, waiting for the night to fall.
Ryan crossed her arms and leaned against a wall before crossing her arms. She looked around calmly before standing up. It would get dark soon and then she would attempt to kill the vampire on her own. She wasn't going to meet with Caleb. She knew that he'd want to take over the hunt and leave her out. All men did that. "Pft. Men."

Aiden was working behind the counter, cooking up an omelette for one guest. He did take notice to one particular customer who came in, who had shoulder-length blonde hair and a long black trench coat that seemed to be concealing something inside. He had a thick southern accent he could here and was flirting with the waitress, Tamantha, who shied away and was giggling a bit as she told Aiden the order.
"Pft. Girls..." He muttered as he flipped the egg and placed it in a plate. "Order up!"
Tamantha was in front of him, biting her lip and looking around. "Er... Aiden. The customer who ordered the beer and the burger, he... um... well he kinda ran outside without paying the bill."
"WHAT!?"
Caleb was running after he could've swore he spotted Ryan. He WILL get involved with this hunt. It was his obsession! He couldn't help it.

Cass slowed down for a second to come to a stop when she heard someone running up behind her. She turned around and looked at Caleb for a second, sensing that he was chasing her. Cass then turned around and ran off quickly as she snapped, "Go away, creep!"
Ryan ran along the alleys knowing that the vampire was chasing after her. She smiled softly as she continued to run. So far her plan was working out perfectly. Who needed guys.

Aiden ran quickly behind Caleb, his cook apron still on him. Caleb looked at her weirdly when she called him a creep. "Creep? Ouch! That hurt! C'mon woman I wanted to hunt too!"
Aiden heard these words and autimatically sensed that he was chasing a girl. Feeling angered in a blink of an eye he vanished, and appeared right in front of Cass and Caleb. Crap...

Cass was completely confused when Caleb responded the way he did. That was strange. And now she felt very threatened. A soft growl rose in her throat as she prepared to turn around and lash out at Caleb. She stopped when Aiden appeared in front of her, nearly running right into him. She put her hands in front of her to defend herself, but once she realized it was just Aiden she relaxed a tiny bit.
Ryan ran into a dead end and turned around with a frightened look on her face. The vampire hadn't fallen for her trap and now she was the one trapped. "s**t." Ryan growled through clenched teeth as she balled up her fists. She had nearly cut the vampire's head off, but she hadn't been able to quite get it and now she was weaponless.
