She awoke in her twin sized, standard issued bed. They each had their own room, all of those in the program, but they were all basically the same room, with a few added touches of those living there. Nimi had added pictures of flowers to her walls, trying to make the place seem less dreary and as she looked at them and threw on her clothing, she heard an announcement over the intercom. They had a mission and they had to get going, or at least she did. Nimi was the stealth, the member who went in first to tell the other members how good or bad the situation was. because of that, she always went first, and almost never saw combat, but she did not really care. her job meant life and death for her comrades and she took it seriously.
Once dressed and presentable, Nimi jogged down the hall to the loading bay where they would all receive their missions, get in their suits and be taken out to the drop point. She stood in line with the others, her hands clasped behind her back, saluting with the others. They had received their orders, and she was to head out to scout out the base where some country was holding nuclear weapons they were planning on using. A standard job.She was loaded up, in ball form, and anchored.
There came the sudden rush of the release, Nimi's stomach tightening as she was shot, hearing the wind rush past her. It was always a thrill to be released, first or last it was amazing and Nimi knew that she would never get over it. The flew up into the atmosphere, her ride, though relatively short all things considering, was still boring. She messed around with her zooms, her com.s device and her weapons, making double sure that everything was in working order. As she was doing that, she reached her peak and began her decent, falling swiftly toward the ground until her HUD unit kicked in, her suit uncurling from the ball.
Nimi landed and took a quick view of where she had landed, then began to move toward her destination. She moved quickly and as quietly as she could, stopping when there were signs of life and only moving on once she determined that it was no threat, or if it was, when it was gone. She was careful, precise and even as she reached her vantage point, Nimi was careful to keep herself hidden. The base was now just half a mile away from her and as she zoomed in, she turned on her communication device. Luckily, even of the others were not yet online, what she said would be recorded and relayed to them once they were.
"I count six buildings, all behind a seven foot tall cement wall with electrified Constantine wire at the top. There are two means of entry, one on the north-west wall and the other on the east wall. There are about four heavy artillery guns placed in the open with four to six men to guard and operate them. Armed guards with dogs patrol the outside border, passing by every three minutes." She began, zooming in further to get a better look.
"This place employes and houses about three hundred men, though it does not look as though they have enough vehicles to taxi them all out should something happen to the nukes." She explained, letting her vision zoom in further, looking in what windows she could to try and get a better assessment for her team.
"All men carry heavy machine guns, two handguns, assorted grenades, and a knife in their boot. Everything looks military issue, affirming that this is a government funded base. The nuke silos are along the south wall, limited to no units placed there." She said, finally finishing her report. her job was done, but she was not extracted until the rest of her team did, so she had the pleasure of watching the events that would soon take place.
