In the land of Albion, there lies a powerful Heroes Guild, which trains and distributes quests to people of significant ability and renown known as "Heroes", regardless of the morality of their actions.
The people of Albion have grown restless. With the advent of firearms, many common people have begun to question the need for such a guild. Why worship morally ambiguous heroes for help when you can shoot the hobbes in your garden from the safety of your porch with no skill required at all? That wasn't the only issue. Many heroes had grown corrupt, and the guild's "Choose-your-own-path" approach to raising heroes had lead to the birth of numerous, horrendous villains that plagued Albion, with the guild's permission, no less.

You are a citizen of Albion, and a Hero, regardless of your position on the guild's importance. What role you play in one of Albion's most crucial historical moments is entirely up to you.

Appearance: Hunter has short, white hair with a mustache and beard to match. He has tattoos along his forehead and cheeks as well as both arms. He wears a loose, dark green, hooded tunic with brown stitching and baggy green pants tucked into brown, leather boots. Two brown leather belts cross his waist and hold his guild seal and pistol. His hands are covered in fingerless brown leather gloves and his arms are unconcealed by his tunic.
Brief History: Hunter grew up in Knothole Glade and earned the right to join the Heroes' guild after a hero witnessed his survival against a white balverine attack. Since then, he has proven to be a talented and tested member of the guild. While he has never revealed himself to be outstandingly good or evil, one remarkable trait has been brought up in regards to his hero record:
He has never slain a single balverine.
Other: Hunter is afflicted with the White Balverine's curse, and as such, can transform into a White Balverine. Additionally, silver or silver-augmented weapons inflict greater damage to him.

Appearance: Sai is about 5'9" with long, rusty brown hair. Her eyes are blue-gray like the sea after a storm and very expressive. She's a little curvy and pale.
Brief History: Saisiri was brought to the guild when she was four years old. Her mother was a barmaid and her father was, allegedly, a nobleman. Shy and studious, the young girl was easily made the butt of many jokes until she witnessed someone holding down a friend so that another boy could hit him. In a fit of rage she attacked the bully with the ferocity of a dragon, beating him with a stick until he yielded. Hence her title.
