Powers: Augustus' main power is in using his Magic. But even without the influence of this sorcerous power, Augustus is not incapable of battle. A Magician is never limited to his magic. As with any being, he can use his body to fight. Augustus is balanced, quick, and he can become very focused. It is often hard to get Augustus truly into your grasp without letting him slip through your fingers.
Abilities: One of Augustus' most important abilities is that of study. In order for him to continue to progress as a magician and to learn skills that will help him with his goals, he must study. His patience and love for learning get him stronger in character, power, and battle. Augustus is a strong swimmer, runner, and he was a bit of a gymnast as a teenager. This keeps him agile and quick, which can aid him in most situations.
Weapons: As stated before, Augustus can use his runes to attack with magic, whether it be elemental or simply physical. His study of the human anatomy transformed his ability to use magic, making him able to physically hurt the human body from the inside out. Though this power is not extreme, and he cannot use it to immediately kill someone, he can cause pain. [Pinching nerves, causing aches, and sometimes hitting pressure points to disable limbs.] Other than that, he wields a small knife, of which he can throw with accuracy. When completely diminished of these weapons, his brute force is always an option.
Goals: What larger of a goal could you have than to change the world for the better (or worse)? It sounds cliche, and it's one of those phrases that make people cringe with doubt. Even when an adult blurts out the sentence "I want to change the world!" then people always ask, "Well, how're you going to do that? You'll need resources, you'll need money, you'll need factory." They may be correct in some cases, but for Augustus, it's a bit different.
Augustus' paradigm is that everyone has a role to play in this world of chaos. They all have missions. And because of those missions, there are many called and chosen to truly change the world. The way to change it? By forming a group, a clan, a body of people with one goal in mind, so that those people may empower one another in their goal, and eventually reach it.
That is Augustus' goal or commitment. To help form, if not lead a group of revolutionaries, who will find a way to change their world for the better.
Personality: Augustus is thoughtful and considerate. He never takes things at face-value, and will often step back, taking time to weigh his options before action. His life is centered around principle, so everything he does is for what he thinks is the greater good. Hope and love mean everything to him. Without hope, why would he have reason to live? Without anything to wish for, without anything to look forward to, why would he care about anything in this world? Without love, how could he be happy? Love is the essence of joy to Augustus, and without it, there would be no true happiness. If that doesn't give you a glimpse into how Augustus see's the world, himself, and those around him, I don't know what will.
