All aboard! The Hogwarts Express will be leaving Platform 9¾ on September the first, at eleven o'clock sharp. Bid your farewells because your journey will begin shortly. Also remember, stick to your ticket!

Edit - The teachers will meet the students at Hogwarts.

Jenny got everything she needed from the list and headed to block 9 3/4. When she got through the wall, she noticed how many first years were enrolled this year. That is a lot of first years! She went of to the conductor and reached into her bag where her ticket should of been. "There is is!" She found her ticket and got inside. There was an open seat not too far from where she got on and put her luggage on the rack. She sat down and looked out the window to see all the students coming in.

6th Year; Location: Platform 9 3/4 - Hogwarts Express

Colin mumbled to himself as he handed his music player to his mum. Electronics didn't work at Hogwarts, which always tended to bum him out since he did love music so. After an extended talk from his dad about responsibility, and a number of embarrassing kisses from his mum, Colin headed onto the train.

Bringing Winston, his pet horned owl, with him, he managed to get on the train a bit earlier than usual, finding an open lot. A sixth year... he could not believe it himself. Surprisingly enough, but also a bit taken with it. A high level duelist, a possible 4th running seeker for the Ravenclaw quidditch team, he was looking forward to this year indeed. Slipping on his blue and bronze robes, with matching tie, he got a bit comfy patting his owl.
"I wonder how our luck will be this year, Winston. I might even manage to snog a girl..." he said to his owl. The owl squawked in glee, and Colin chuckled as he sat, trying to ignore all of the first and second years running about. They seemed to be everywhere this year...

Sierra ran through the wall to make it onto Platform 9&3/4, home of the Hogwarts Express. She was by herself as her parents had to work, as they both worked at the Ministry of Magic and rarely ever got to see Sie off. She looked around at all the people on the station and took her bags over to the luggage compartment and walked onto the train. After a few steps she found an empty compartment, after all, she was a Seventh Year and knew how to find these things, and opened the door and sat down on a seat, flicking the door shut with her wand. It didn't matter if she did magic anywhere now, she was eighteen now, and had been a legal wizard for the last year.

Gillian sighed softly as she made it through the pillar and looked around the Platform. She pushed her dreadlocks back over her shoulder as she made her way through the crowd and towards the train. She wasn't really a loner, but she didn't have to many friends. It might have had something to do with the way she looked. Not many people at Hogwarts had dreadlocks... Or pink hair for that matter. And the piercing probably didn't help much. She scoffed softly as she chewing on one of thew rings in her lip. Oh well, their problems. Not hers.

Audrey had been nervous that whole morning, stumbling over her belongings, making sure she had everything, and being all so envious of her brother, who seemed so at ease and easy going. She walked along the pillars, setting on eyes on the ruby train, taking a steadying breathe. Gosh, she needed it.

She stepped onto the train. promising herself to be a more opinionated and louder person this year. All that feeling deflated when she bumped into a pink haired girl, causing her to mumble her apologizes a thousand times and shuffle quickly past her in embarrassment. The girl had been intimidating, but that wasn't what made the Ravenclaw nervous. It was the fact that she was already messing up.

Hurrying into the nearest compartment, she saw a boy her year and a fellow Ravenclaw to be exact. It made her asking him the question she had in mind all the more easy.
"E-excuse me? B-but may I share your compartment?" she asked uncertain.

Samantha stood in front of the scarlet train and swallowed a little. She had never been so scared in her life. Her foster parents had to leave her at King's Cross station, for the fact that they had to get to work at the Ministry of Magic. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, before pushing her trolley towards the Hogwarts Express. She pushed the trolley with one hand, and reached into her pocket with the other, wrapping her hand around the piece of paper that was her ticket. She pulled it out and gave the ticket to the conductor, then went to one of the cars. Sam managed to get her luggage into a compartment and lifted it all into the rack before she let her cat, Lucinda, out. Lucinda hopped up onto the seat and curled up next to Sam with a soft purr.

Yuurei had gotten used to routine..You should by this time in 7th year..His final year..It would be all over. He looked at the familiar scarlett train with a small smirky smile, holding onto his trunks and his black owl,Midnight. Yuurei watched as some students, many were younger students get into the train, following the crowds of students going into the compartments. He went inside, and around for a compartment, the one available had the 7th year Gryffindor,Sierra. "May I come in..?" He asked quietly, but didnt show any sign of hostility.

Sierra was thinking to herself, and had already changed into her robes to the best of her abilities, when another 7th year, Yuurei opened the door and asked if he could come into the compartment. Sierra, being nice as she was and not prejudiced toward Slytherin, she replied, "Sure, feel free," and smiled. He didn't seem hostile and seemed nice enough toward her. She had seen him around school a few times, and he and her hadn’t really talked that much really, Sierra just knew his name.

6th year; Location: sitting in a train booth on the Hogwarts Express

Colin jumped a bit, hearing a girl from the entrance of his booth. Noticing the blue and bronze robes he sighed a breath of relief - equal company, convenient. Smiling and motioning to the open seating in his section, he greeted the girl gently.
"Oh, hello there. Sure I have open seating." He said to her, as she eased in. She seemed a bit put off or something of the sort, the way she was holding herself. Timid or shy even.

Colin recognized her though, from past years... getting to know her couldn't hurt, really. He never had a chance to talk to her over the years, well beyond 'hi's' and 'byes' of course.
"You're... Audrey, right? Audrey Whitlock? M'name's Colin, Colin Reid. We have most of the same classes, yeah?"
He began, hoping to strike conversation. She was cute. Real cute. Perhaps that search for a girl wasn't so far out of bounds after all... Winston squawked as if the owl read his mind, and he chuckled. "Oh, and that is Winston. My owl."

Yuurei Matasuki,7th year,Siytherin

Yuurei was glad to be allowed into the compartment, coming into the compartment and closing the door behind him. He sat down across from her,not knowing what to talk about. He has always taken a mutual liking to Sierra, she was kind and sweet..things you usually dont find in Sytherin house.

Aurora quietly made her way onto plat form 9 3/4 with her belongs able to fit on one cart. She let out a little huff as she looked at her luggage again. Her mother had only allowed her to bring necessities, like always. No extras, those were to be left at home.
Looking down at her dark green sweater, she felt a little bit better. The color reminded her of the house she was in, Slytherin. It brought back the memories from the years before.
Figuring she shouldn't delay any longer, she made her way to the train. Just as she was about to get on though, she noticed a girl with pink dreadlocks. She immediately stopped and gawked in the most obvious of ways, and a smile spread across her lips. She admired the girl for being different and daring. Aurora wondered why she hadn't seen her before, but made a note to get to know her.

Sierra was sort of sitting there, trying to think of something to talk about as they were both being quiet, and not saying much. "So it's great to be back at Hogwarts, isn't it, I know I'm glad to be back after the holidays," she said smiling and trying to make conversation with Yuurei, as it was the kind thing to do, they couldn't sit in silence for the whole trip.

Thomas was having the most annoying time. His father had drilled him on what was expected of him since he left the manor, his mother weeping. Stating over and over, and OVER again how she'd miss him, and to write every day. It was hurting the cunning Slytherin's head.

He had never been so happy to see King's Cross Station, hurrying into the scarlet train, ignoring everyone and everything in the halls, going to the first compartment unfilled. Which just so happened to hold a fellow Slytherin and a Gryffindor, both in their seventh year if he remembered right. His natural grin alighted on his lips, what fun!

He immediately sat down, not asking looking at the two of them with practiced vague interest.
"Don't mind do you?" He asked, though honestly he didn't care about the answer they gave.

The ebony locked girl sighed in relief, a hesitant but genuine smile gracing her features as she took her seat opposite of him, dealing with her luggage. After taking the spot, Colin began to talk again, so of course she listened closely, she didn't want to mess up when she could possibly become more social.

The fact that he knew her name made her excited, her smile growing as she nodded to the fact. She had already known his name, being quiet means you hear a lot, but she didn't tall him. Why bother? She once again nodded to the fact.
"We've had practically all the same classes since year one," she added the last part quieter, just in case he thought she was odd for it.

She smiled at the bird, wanting very much to pet it, but deciding against it just in case.
"I have a cat, named Dusty. But he wonders all over, never can keep him in one place unless it's meal time," she giggled softly at her own statement.
