And at a decent rate also. On a whim after looking at like ten different places I went through another agency that my dad actually uses.. it was the cheapest by about 5 dollars for 6 months. Which is mighty fine if you ask me. lol

340 dollars for 6 months compared to more everywhere else.. I'm only paying 56 dollars and some change per month for coverage I need. ^^

Now I just need tags and I'll be good to go. lol

Yay! Insurance is your friend.. Lol! Unless it's Farmers Insurance (the first company I ever used) because they were mean, overpriced and when I stopped using them they tried to force my mom to pay for my rates on top of hers saying she had to. Ug.

I use Geico. They've taken care of me through accidents and had great communication.

I looked through so many.. Most were wanting like 70 a month.. I've got Traveler's. They're really decent and friendly. MY dad and grandmother both use them so I know it's good customer service. (especially helping my grandmother because there was a claim I helped her file)

I paid 56.58 today and am only gonna be paying 56.66 or so a month. It's going to be auto drafted so that works out better for me... The reason it's so low is because the car is old and really only needed the state minimum of liability. (my mom does insurance so I'm just going by what she said lol.. I'd have had her do it for me but I'm saving like 20 or so a month. ^^)

I'm a little jealous. Our car insurance is painful because of location and my car. It's like $750 for six months. Raaaaape~!

I think the main reason with mine is because it's a 1987 Chevy Sprint... It only needed liability, it gets parked in the driveway here.. yeah.. lol

Some factors that are usually taken into consideration are the type of coverage (as in, full coverage vs. just minimum coverage), who's driving it (and their driving record) and how much driving will be done on it.

I only pay 266ish for 6 months at a time but I only have liability coverage (for minimum mileage driven) and I gave an extra bump to my uninsured motorist coverage because I know that Californian's drive like crazy people.

Oh wow. I think mine might be age, plus lack of previous insurance, plus car.
