This planet is home to the Imperial Military Bioweapons Division. They have massive labs spread all over this temperate world, which was once a fine industrial planet. Abandoned cities, towns, and villages are scattered across the planet, now empty, save for the hazards that the military has released there.

The research labs themselves are closed down and quarantined , following a massive outbreak of a mutated virus created from the strain that created the mutant monsters on a space station in a different sector. All the personnel, workers, and remaining citizens and test subjects were infected, leaving the planet home to nothing except the walking dead. The most promising bioweapon currently under development was a nanobot based weapon, that was designed to eat away armor, circuits, and machinery, to erode an enemy fighting force's weapons and mechanical components, leaving them effectively disarmed. The data sits in a server room, in a now overgrown, derelict lab, on a planet of the dead.

This planet is currently under lockdown and quarantine measures, and is blockaded by the fleet. As the infection is spread by bites and fluids, nobody is sent down to the planet anymore. An investigation to assemble a mercenary team to retrieve the research data is underway.
