ShadowClan is a group of cats that live in the swamplands of the forest. Their founding leader, Shadow, got her name from the silent way she hunted in the night, so by extension the name was given to the Clan. ShadowClan cats are skilled night hunters, relying on the cover of the darkness while hunting, as there is limited undergrowth on their territory. They also have the reputation as the most stealthy of all the Clan cats. ShadowClan's main prey includes frogs, snakes, lizards and other creatures that inhabit the marshlands.
This dark reputation has been earned over the years by an unfortunate run of corrupted leaders, twisted minds, and bitter plots. They are proud, loyal, defensive, and slightly arrogant; often seem to be misunderstood and portrayed by the other Clans as battle-hungry, aggressive, ambitious, and greedy for more territory. It was often said when the Clans were in the forest, that the cold north wind of the mountains chilled the ShadowClan warriors' hearts. **Ashpaw should also be a warrior by now as well. Sorry if I'm sounding like a know-it-all. sweatdrop **
Hawkfeather yawned quietly, poked Grayclaw's side with a paw, hissing, "Wake up," before getting out of the den so he could get outside for the dawn patrol. Looking around camp, he saw that barely anyone was awake. That's because it's been too peaceful lately.

((It's fine, its good to have someone tell me these things ^^ School has me stressed out pretty bad so I overlook alot of things.))
Ashshadow opened one of her blue eyes looking at Hawkfeather trying to wake up her father. She got to her paws with a soft yawn, pushing Grayclaw over so he would wake up. Which he did with a hiss, but slipped outside quietly Ashshadow sliding past them, "Good morning Hawkfeather." She mewed before heading towards the fresh-kill pile.
Grayclaw just yawned ignoring his daughter and looked to the other warrior, "Dawn patrol?" He asked closing his eyes for a bit then opening them to adjust to the light since he was rudely awakened.

"Mornin' Ashshadow, and yes Crayclaw, dawn patrol. Come on, I think Vixenheart is already awake." The tom mewed, stretching as he watched his former apprentice sitting outside near the camp entrance.
(Who's Tumblepaw's mentor going to be? Did you notice that the guild has a StarClan Grayclaw and a ShadowClan Grayclaw?)

Grayclaw nodded showing he was paying attention before giving another yawn. "Well patrol won't start itself." He meowed starting towards the entance and waiting for everyone.
Ashshadow bit into a vole eating it happy that shadowclan had lots of prey even when it was almost bare-leaf. "Becareful, you guys." She meowed over to them knowing she wasn't going on patrol.
((Well they're really not both alive. So I'll worry about that when this Grayclaw dies or becomes an elder we can rename him. We can make Grayclaw her mentor since he has no apprentice or maybe Vixenheart xD))

(True enough. Let's go with Grayclaw. Vixenheart won't want to mentor her half-sister.)
Getting to her paws when she saw the two toms approach, Vixenheart asked Grayclaw, "Not bringing Tumblepaw this time?" She really didn't want her annoying little sister ruining the patrol, but couldn't help it if she did, she was too hyper in the mornings.

"I'm planning to take her out for training later when she wakes up." He meowed before turning to look at her. "For now Its just us, so it should be a peaceful patrol." Grayclaw said calmly with another yawn showing he was still waking up.
Cloverpool sat outside the medicine den looking at everyone then seeing how calm everyone was it made her abit uneasy.

"Great, then let's leave." Mewed Vixenheart, slipping out of the camp entrance faster than a frog caught between her paws.
"I think you just made her day." Hawkfeather observed to Grayclaw with an amused look on his face.

"I think I did too." He meowed beginning after Vixenheart. He didn't mean to seem grumpy, but that's how he was in the mornings. He was a grumpy old cat as Ashshadow told him, but she was only joking half the time.
(Exit Grayclaw to border.)
Ashshadow licked her lips finishing the vole then getting to her paws, there wasn't much for her to do today.

Rainpour yawned softly looking at her two kits who were asleep, streamkit laying on top of his sister protectively. The queen got to her paws slipping out of the nursey and shaking her fur in the sun light. She heard a mew behind her seeing Blossomkit trying to get away from her brother who was still asleep once the kit did, it rushed over mewing happily at rainpour. "Good Morning, Mother." The kit began to walk around the queen for abit almost looking like she was bouncing from how small she was compared to the other kits.

Coming out of the apprentice's den. Tumblepaw yawned, and poked her head into the warrior's den to see that her mentor had left without her. "Guess it means apprentice's duties first then." She spoke to herself quietly as she slipped out of camp, gathering moss to soak with water, and came back to camp to the nursery. "Rainpour, I have some water for you." The dusky-brown apprentice mewed, setting down the moss for a moment so she could speak.

Rainpour purred at the apprentice and took the moss, "Thank you Tumblepaw." She meowed before using her tail to stop Blossomkit so she didn't run into the apprentice. "I'm guessing Grayclaw went on dawn patrol?" The queen guessed pretty easily not seeing the warrior laying around.
Blossomkit stopped right when the queen put her tail in front of her, she looked at Tumblepaw then to Rainpour before sitting down and tilting her head slightly listening to the two.

Tumblepaw shrugged. "Either that or he's on the hunting patrol. All I know is that I'm stuck with my apprentice's duties until he gets back." Looking down at Blossomkit, the apprentice purred. "I see you're up and about already Blossomkit, you're not causing Rainpour any grief yet, now are you?" She kept her voice low because of the still sleeping Streamkit.
