I've made up my mind, I want to come out to my family on my 21st birthday this Saturday (Aug 20).
This is going to be hard on account that:
a) I have a bad anxiety problem
b) My mom won't look at the accurate translations of the Bible and believes that same-sex relationships earn a one-way ticket to hell
c) regarding section b), I'm more gay than bi (number 5 on the Kinsley scale~ Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual)
d) with being out they'll know I'm a slightly femme bi
I need words of support, I don't want my 21st to go and have me not come out and continue living a lie

sounds good i guess. i dont know how they will react at all though (my parents dont know im bi). but i wish u good luck :3

Good luck! You can do it! Coming out is hard, especially when it comes to unsupportive parents, but at least you know the time is right. I hope it goes very well for you, and don't give up! No matter what happens, you'll make it through the day smile

It always seems like there just never is enough time when it comes to these things. Just play it cool until the moment of truth, yeah? It's actually very easy to say the words.
And don't worry about their reaction. Who knows? They might react differently than you thought they would.

Wow, you're soooo brave to just decide like that!! I admire you so much! whee I could never do something like that--I'm still scared to tell my older brother who probably wouldn't care either way (he might understand because he's determined to be a bachelor all his life, lol).
