Gaia had a contest for it a little while back~ There were a lot of really cool ones entried, and it was really neat to see people in there that're part of gaia too. (Plus: So many characters! here's the runner ups, and the winner's page is disabled or I'd post. :C ) I thought about doing one of the Von Helson sisters, or Mirai - but didn't end up doing that for it. Mirai'd probably be my favorite because IRL I'm a pretty girly chick, but Von Helson seems infinately easier, y'know? x) No hair dying or messing with.

Ya know, I did see a couple people at San Japan dressed up as something I've seen around here... they were purple-ish blue with candy corn horns and black shirts...?
Mirai wouldn't be too hard...but people would come up to you and tell you to sell fish for gold ;3

At conventions I usually only see people in OMG hats or ORLY hats....never any cosplays.
iMutt, those are Homestuck characters you're seeing around.

I would probably consider it if Gaia conventions came to my city at least once (they never do). 8D...

I was Blaze at Otakon last year. I actually was a 1st prize winner in the on-site contest with it. o 3o I think the key is picking someone who fits you well, and that goes for all cosplay. I wasn't at all abashed by cosplaying a Gaia character, even if I did meet some hecklers. Gotta have dat confidence. Strut yo stuff.

  dakki your so pretty! :gonk I don't know which NPC would fit my body type or even face structure. I can pull of a great wicked witch but sadly no NPCs on the site have odd noes and sharp cheekbones. So I would just have to go as a fun character and that would be Mintaka from the cash shop.

I'd cosplay as Meili, cause Meili is the s**t. I'd need a wig and have to make the outfit, but I'm skinny enough for me.

Thankies. You could always play up make-up to tone down your cheeks. o: But having fun with it would be more important than anything. It's what a lot of the american cosplay culture is about. Cosplay is fun as hell.

I would totally do it. Sadly I wouldn't really be able to cosplay the person I truly want to. (I could pull them off but I'd have to use facepaint or something of the like to get their skin colour and that sort of thing causes my skin to come out in a nasty rash.)
But if I were to think realistically: I would say Taylor from the Eternal Rivals RIG, since I have the body type to pull it off and I like them, but I don't think I could wear something that shows that much skin. But, I would give it a shot. (Though I'd also consider doing Charming from the Enchanted Book EI, or even Cindy. Funny how I considered brunettes when I'm actually a blonde. I do have a brown wig that would work for all three of them though, so I guess its all good.)

I guess so, but I think I could pull both off. XD And yes, I would find the first person I see dressed up as Liam and give him a proper slap across the face!
