The lake is fresh water and a popular spot for students.  (the far side of the lake in winter) Arya sat in a cherry tree. The pink blossoms where starting to loose their petals, so the ground was covered in a blanket of pink. This was her second favorite place to come and relax. First was the garden.

Ren sat around the Lake. He picked up a stone and hurled it at the water, it skipped all the way to the other side of the Lake. Why can't I remember anything he said to himself. Ren awoke in one of the school dorms and couldn't remember anything except his name. He'd found his Katana and his gun, which he somehow knew they were his. He'd got some details from a few other students, but most thought he was mad because of the questions he'd ask. Ren buried his head in his hands and tried to remember just one detail... but he couldn't remember anything. He sighed and stared up at the morning sky.

Arya watched Ren bury his head in his hands and considered going over to join him. She jumped from her branch and walked over to Ren. She put her hand lightly on his shoulder. Arya looked straight ahead, but asked "Are you ok?". Her voice was soft and had an accent that was almost british, but not quite (elven accent).

Ren looked up at the girl stood next to him."No not really", he frowned as he explained his situation,"I don't remember anything about anything, I woke up in a empty room and I don't even know where we are. The only things I remember are my weapons and my name". He looked at her blankly, other all the students he'd talked to he thought this girl would just think he was a nutcase and walk off.

Arya sat down beside him and laughed lightly. "That's better than nothing, don'tcha think? It's a place to start." she said, pushing her hair behind her ears.

He smiled slightly at this,"I guess...". He turned his head at looked at her,"So you are?".

"Yes. A school for anyone that isn't one-hundred percent human." Arya explained. "I'm elf, nymph, shapeshifter, neko, and a tiny bit goddess on my mother's side." she said.

"Ah... Can humans enter?". Ren zipped his sports bag up the he had next to him.

"I guess. Just be careful of the vampires, werewolves, etc..." Arya said, smiling at Ren. "I'm assuming you're human, then?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ren smiled arkwardly,"I don't really know"."I feel stronger than a human, but I don't think I have any special powers, but then again I haven't tried anything like that before... I think".

"I didn't mean to make you feel awkward. So sorry if I did." Arya said. The way she said it seemed very formal, especially because of her accent. "I think I know someone that could tell you what are just by looking at you, but that would spoil the fun, wouldn't it?" she said, a small smile creeping onto her lips.

Ren smiled at that,"So, what now? I mean, do I have to take classes or anything?". Ren noticed this school was different from others. The fact that some people carried weapons around, the fact that no one was surprised when he walked down the hallway with one handgun in each hand.

"Technically, you should have to sign up for classes, but I can convince the Board to let this one slide, I think." Arya said. As she spoke, she pulled a small dagger from her boot.  She started cleaning it with her shirt.
