Gaian: The Dice King
Character Name: Kole Solaire
Age: 16
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 134lbs
Appearance: Kole has an athletic figure despite his constant laziness, though this is merely in appearance only; Kole lacks mostly any type of physical strength and endurance whatsoever. Kole has the trademark grey hair and grey eyes of his ancestors, rumored to turn a brilliant red when his chakra is activated, but since his birth Kole has not achieved this. His light grey hair hangs down at medium length. His eyes are always half open, and though he is constantly tired, he bears no bags under his eyes. He instead yields the eyes of a careless man, or someone who is only putting in half the effort to pay attention. As for clothes, he tends to adhere to the garbs of commoners. He sports dark grey slacks, black boots, and wears his clan’s jacket out of respect. The jacket is faded red and the sleeves are black. On the right side of his chest is his family’s crest, a tribal looking sun symbol, that is also black. The jacket is a little raggedy as his mother said it was something her grandfather had once cherished. Kole is also known to wear a shoulder bag to keep belongings in, like ninja tools, but he mostly packs snacks and drinks.
Clan: No-Clan
Role: Combat
Affinity: Fire
Village: Mist
Rank: Academy Student
History: Kole is the final remaining member of the deceased Solaire Clan. In the ancient wars that took place across the lands, the Solaire clan were a standard background ninja. Over countless generations the Solaire clan developed unique fire jutsu, and a renowned visual jutsu once known as the Taiyogan. But these ancient arts were lost in the great wars. Broken, and outmatched in battle, due to their trademark physical weaknesses, the Solaire clan, once a clan of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, attempted to escape the continuing violence by moving. However, there journey was ambushed by a squad of Mist ninja’s. The once proud clan was held hostage, and their ransom failed to be recognized by the Village Hidden in the Leaves. The warriors died, one by one, until all that were left were the lower class. In the passing time of peace, the clan was released, but with nowhere else to return, they remained in mist as peasants and workers. A few generations later and their innate fragility gave way to fatigue and disease, and silently slipped away into history. Kole’s mother died of stress at a young age, and since then Kole has lived much of his life on his own. His mother never revealed his father’s identity before her passing; rumor is that it might not have even been a Solaire member (more likely actually, due to their rapidly decreasing population) Through his mother’s stories, Kole has an understanding of there once proud clan, but no knowledge of their abilities. As the last of his kind, he decided to become a shinobi as a final salute to the clan in hopes that he can at least honor their ancient ways. Kole, unfortunately, is not much of a warrior, however. Unlike his ninja brethren, he lacks any skills whatsoever to give him an edge. His physical strength is that of a small rodent and his understanding of genjutsu is as complex as a foreign language to him. In his early stages he also had no means of using ninjutsu all though he tried. He figured, in his head, that his bloodline was so old and faded that the shinobi spirit within, no longer existed. Despite this he remains a shinobi out of some sort of pride he feels he should have. He bears no ill will to the Village Hidden in the Leaves or Mist, as he knows nothing in the past was a direct attack at the clan itself, rather a time of war, and therefore subconsciously, he remains a shinobi in hopes that he may find his path in life.
