Setting: New York City, 2013.

The end of the world came as a shock to many, in early 2013. It was not from war, though it certainly helped it along. A mysterious infection, caused by a mutated virus released somewhere in the world, swept the planet, turning those susceptible to it into undead monsters, hungry for human flesh. As social order began to break down, one of the last things people heard on the radio or news was the atrocities being committed by their own governments to contain the deadly outbreaks.

It has been seven months since the world fell apart. You are a survivor living in New York City, and a greater threat then the hordes of undead has arisen, forcing the survivors to make plans to group together.

As the survivors head for an abandoned movie theater to link up, what will become of them, and the world?
