I just purchased a little bundle of incense cones and I lurrrve the way they smell! What are your favorite fragrances? Do you make your own incense? If so, how and what are your favorite ingredients? If not, where do you purchase your incense? What fragrances are you most drawn to? Sticks, cones, or oil?

I love the sticks specially since I have a few holders and I like to watch them burn.
But cones are cool too, i've tried them out before just because i've never really used them.
Oil is nice though ;3 it seems to flow through out the whole house when I use it.
I think Lavender is my favorite. ;3 I haven't made my own incense but I would love to do that, I have a nice book on how to make the different types and I grow enough herbs to make them, so I really should try to make them sometime.

My favorites are Amber and Bayberry, and I use sticks, cones, and oil (depending on the need and availability). Hubby has asthma so the sticks sometimes aggravate that a bit, so when he's around I tend to stick to the cones or oil.
I once liked the HEM brand in one of their scents, so I got a few more and then they all began to create the same kind of... "after-scent." It was more chemical than I like, so I gave all that away and am experimenting a bit with different brands now.

I love nag champa. I also use dragons blood a lot. It depends on the ritual I do on what incense I use. I have Scott Cunningham's oils, incense & brews and I have made quite a few of those incenses. I just can't find good quality charcoal blocks. The hooka ones kinda suck. They keep going out on me.

One of my favorite incense blends is something a friend of mine named The Calling Blend. It's a blend of sweet grass, sage, and cedar. It's powerful for cleansing and bringing in positivity to your house or ritual space and it smells good. You can make it yourself or buy it from Otter and Trout Trading Company. They have an online store. The incense is loose organic leaf and crushed. I burn it on charcoal brickets in a shell censor over sand.
