I may be different, but I love who I am
Derek may seem stuck up to some people, but isn't that everyone's judgement of rich people? Newsflash: he's NOT. He has a very kind heart and stands true for what he believes in. Derek loves his family, but he can be disgusted with them at times! Derek can be very stubborn, and always stands up for what he believes in. He gets along with most people, but there's some people he hates, like bullies. He's always been known to beat the bullies up, and no one messes with the Drake boy. He loves playing sports, and is very well muscled due to captain of the football team, co captain of the wrestling team, and is often working out. He's hot, frankly. He is kind of the jock at the school, but not in personality. Derek likes the smaller things in life, like nature and wildlife. He ejoys photography, and spends a lot of his time outside, taking excellent pictures. He also loves his border collie, Kiera, and loves playing with her. He loves dogs, and also enjoys horses as well. He's a good all around person, against many popular beliefs. He may be popular at school, but he's not your average popular kid. He values people's opinions, and never likes to have a lot of attention. Unfortunately, that usually doesn't work, because his parents consider him a star and want him in the spotlight. Derek hates it, but can never tell his parents. He fights his own battles, but can't find the courage to tell his parents his problems with everything.
I've seen more then you can imagine
Derek has had a pretty good life. He grew up yes, hating the othre family and not understanding it, but he also found the beautiful little things in life. His parents owned a prestigious riding stable outside of town, and bought Derek a world class chestnut Thoroughbred. His horse was high strung, yes, but Derek could handle him. Derek learned to ride and compete on his horse- named Hercules, for his size and strength. Unfortunately, Hercules was forced to retire after an accident on the jumping course. Derek's parents knew his talent on horseback and immediately bought him a two year old Thoroughbred mare to train. The boy named her Jasmine, but calls her Jas. The mare is four years old now, and is a champion hunter and dressage horse. When Derek's not shooting photos or playing with his dog, Kiera, he's riding Jas. He owns his own Dodge Ram 3500 dually pickup truck, and a six horse trailer with living quarters. Sometimes, to escape, Derek will enter shows many miles away from home and let his family go, and usually come back with some blue ribbons and championship trophies. But the equestrian escape doesn't last long.
Derek doesn't understand the feud- fully. He knows the tale behind it, but doesn't understand why his parents won't let it go. The two families have been at it for years. But his parents just won't let the past go. In Derek's opinion, people should forgive and forget- but only sometimes. He understands that it's hard to forget, but everyone deserves to be given the chance to be forgiven. He doesn't understand the feud much. He knows the story behind it all, but why has it gone on for so long? That's what puzzles him. He's learned to pretend to hate the other family, but truly, he doesn't. He thinks they should forgive each other and be happy! But unfortunately, he can't admit it. He just goes with the flow, but hates every minute of it. Derek's in the 'popular crowd' at school, and somewhat enjoys it. He gets the perks of the school, but he hates seeing the others being picked on. His best friend, Jason, is very close to him. Derek feels he can admit anything to Jason, but still hasn't talked to him about the new girls yet. Derek really wants them to have a good time and get along, but unfortunately, Best Friend [F], his other best friend, has found it fun to tease them. Derek absolutely hates it, especially since he likes the new girls. They seem nice. Derek somewhat hopes that he can get to know the girls, but unfortunately, they seem a bit reserved and plus, Best Friend [F] finds it fun to tease Alexis. But that makes Derek mad, and he really wants to stop it! But anything could happen. . .

Jason is actually pretty sweet, despite gaining the rep of a jock. Jason is not only good at sports, BUT when he can, he helps out at the towns local animal shelter. Jason does this in secret of course. As was said before, he has a rep to uphold. Jason goes along with the teasing and everything, but deep inside, it pains him to do it. Jason hopes to get a dog some day. He's noticed that he has a few classes with The Older Sister and hopes to maybe figure out why the two families fight, but that's probably unlikely. He's too good a friend to go behind Romeo's back like that. Jason LOVES Sports and Being Fit. If football isn't in season, he'll try out for another sport. Football being his absolute favorite. Jason just isn't... He's not your average rich boy. Dig Deeper and you'll soon find that out for yourself

Nate grew up in this city and has been best friends with Romeo since grade one. He's been best friends with The Best Friend [F] since grade three. Nate and Romeo go way back and they do almost everything together. Nate is hesitant to show Romeo the sweeter side of him. Nate loves Romeo like a brother. Which, is saying a lot because Nate is an only child. Even though he doesn't really show his sweet side, Nate is an amazing friend. Not just to Romeo and his Younger Brother.

Alexis is very much a tomboy. She's tough and strong and isn't afraid to get dirty. She's very strong-willed and once she gets her mind set on soemthing, it's hard to change her mind. She's also independent and self-reliant. She doesn't need people always around her, she likes doing somethings on her own. She likes being alone and thinking. Alexis is very confident of herself and her skills but she doesn't brag. She speaks her mind no matter what and is very bold and brave. She loves animals, especially horses. She hates the popular kids at school and has to restrain herself form snapping at them. Alexis also loves to write and is an excellent artist. She draws pictures of nature, people, and animals. She also writes stories but doens't like to show people them. She keeps them hidden under her bed. She also loves to play sport and get down and dirty.

Alexis is the youngest of the Storm family. She has an older sister named Allison who is a year older then her. She grew up a good life on her family's estate and was taught to hate the family across the street. When she was little, she didn't see why they hated each other. She spent most of her time with the family's horses riding and taking care of them. She attended a private school her entire life with her sister. Alexis was always very smart and got top marks in school. Her parents were very proud of her and Alexis liked that. Se always did her best to make her parents proud. Even as she got older, she never fully understood why they were supposed to hate the other family but she acted like she did. Although she never fully hated them. Though, to stay loyal to her family, she pretended she did.
Alexis's life was simple until her father lost his job a few months ago. The company he worked for was slowly losing money and they let her father go. It then became really hard to afford the estate and sending the girls to private school. The school, luckily, let the girl finish the year but wouldn't let them return in the fall unless the family could pay. So, Alex and her sister were sent to a public school owned by none other then the family across the street. Alexis has been there for almost a month and hates the place. She is constantly teased and treated badly because of who her family is. One girl especially treats her horribly. Although, she can't fight back because she's apart of Romeo's group, the eldest son of the family across the street. So Alexis deals with the torture everyday and has learned not to care. Theses people really are jerks and she has learned that what they think don't care. As long as she done well in school and makes it through the year alive and with no problems then she'll be happy. hopefully that will be possible.
