been so long since i've done any ceramics. i used to work in a ceramics shop when i was younger.

i want to make my kids piggy banks but haven't found any i like.

How about getting some clay and sitting down with your kids and having them mold a piggy bank themselves (you can use a bowl or cup as a base for them to mold around) and then you can put the bottom on and crave out a plug and back it. Once it's dry they can paint them. smile

*I've never done this but I'm sure there is someone out there that has so, not sure what would be put on the base to get the clay to slip off... maybe wax paper?
