I get to go on a weekend vacation with my family! To someplace very hot... crying It's going to be in the 90's... That may not be hot to some people, but where I live it's just... O_o
~
But my heat troubles aside, is anyone else going anywhere?

*Leaving in 4 1/2 hours, won't be back till late sunday, but still would like to know who else will be roasting wink
It's too bad that the guild has been inactive... feeling a little guilty... redface

Haha. 90 degrees. Thats not terrible p: We get to about 110-115 degrees where Light and I are from~! : D Not to mention its always so humid >^<
I didn't get to take my little vacation this year D; I was going to go to an anime convention in Iowa : D But I didn't get signed up in time, so I didn't get to go ):

Sadly, no vacations for me, either =[
And yeah, Shikamaru is right xD it's super hot and humid where we live and we don't even live near a body of water o.o
Have fun on your vacation :3 You should tell us how it was when you get back ^^ Hopefully it's not humid there. Humidity makes everything feel all sticky and.... bleh

I had a great vacation! I went over to see the Grand Coulee Dam, and even got to take a tour of the Third Powerhouse! Those generators are big! There's so much security over there @_@... Their lazor light show is pretty cool though! It was pretty hot for me, but I guess it wasn't that bad! then again... I was in shorts and there was air conditioning... >.> And apparently spiders think I taste good. I've got at least 3 bites, and a couple from mosquitos too... Another thing I did was see the Ohme Gardens. It's really pretty, and a lot cooler than the other areas. The scary thing is that one wrong step and you fall off a cliff... O_O And then I rode horses. :3
It's too bad no one else seems to be vacationing... Anything else you've been doing though?

I've never heard of the Grand Coulee Dam. I just Googled it though and it looks amazing! That's a large dam xD I want to see a light show. I've never seen one before.
Keep an eye on those spider bites >.> if they seem to be getting worse, talk to your parents about them and go see a doctor to make sure they weren't from a black widow or brown recluse.
ene I hate mosquitos. They can all DIE!!! D<
Ohme Gardens, I've not heard of that place either, but the Google images look magnificent *w* I'm rather jealous owo but I'm glad you had fun, otherwise ^^ despite the heat and what-not.
Umm... I went to a fair with Shikamaru_girl and am going to a concert Friday with one of my best friends. That's about all the good excitement I've done and will be doing all summer. Though, I did have fun playing dress up with Shika last month xD Yay for wigs!

Yeah, I had a really good time!
The dam is so big... And the light show is pretty cool! They put in some music, and a bit of information on the dam, coulee, and the surrounding areas too. And during the show, they let water spill over the dam!
I don't think the spider bites were from something that nasty, but they're still pink and itchy. I just took a benedryll for it, so I'll probably be passed out pretty soon... :3 But if it gets any worse, I'll definitely go see a doctor. Thanks! And yeah... mosquitoes suck. I kinda told one of them to go kill itself... >.>
The Ohme Gardens really are beautiful! If I have the chance, I'll try to put up a couple photos? And thanks, it was really fun!
I love going to fairs! I probably get a cavity after every trip, but... whee Never been to a concert before, but I hope you have fun with your friend!!! Agh dress up... My friends do it to me all the time, and for some reason I always end up covered in glitter... But I'm glad you two had a great time! Is it hard to cover up natural hair with a wig though?

Wigs are actually pretty easy to wear. You just need a hair net for your natural hair and it should be easily covered up. Also, good wigs help too xD
Glitter? XD That's funny. The last time I played with glitter was when I was running around town throwing it in the street. literally >.>"

when my sister's home sometimes we goof around and try on my wigs haha : )
and like she use to have hair down to her center back :'D (its shoulder length now xD) and she didnt use my hairnet xD
honestly, without a hairnet it a little harder to work, but it DOES work : )
like when i got my first wig, it didn't come with a hairnet...neither did my second...but my other 3 did :'D (cuz i ordered them from the same place xD)
my hair is a little longer than my shoulders too. So all you really have to do is put your hair into a pony-bun (dont pull the last time completely thru). Then bobby-pin or clip the rest of your hair and bangs back : )
you'll have a bit more of a bump than you would with a wignet, but its not to terrible : )

Harry Potter!!! heart oh geez the 5th movie... watched that with my friends who were all giggling about snape "smuggling a baseball" during one of Harry's mind lessons... XD
Yup. Glitter. It was in the eye shadow, in my hair, all over my clothes, and just plain brushed on my face... @_@
Thanks for the advice about wigs! I used to have really long hair (down to my rear) so I got a little worried... And even though I cut it up to a little bit above my shoulders last month, it's all coming back... really fast... Well, that's where my hair/make up crazy friends are going to come in! :3 I can see them now...
