The Forest lies all along the outskirts of Mount Olympus. It's filled with freash fruit, vegtables and berries. The gods come here to relax.

((This forum has been empty for too long,I'm gonna try to awaken it)) Hermes
God of Thieves,Travellers,and Flight Up high on a branch of a tall oak tree,Hermes lay idly,resting and passively thinking about anything which came into his godly mind,pondering anything he thought of from the events of the day to questions of the universe.He was doing this to kill his previous boredom;the other Gods never seemed to have much fun,which was simply silly considering their power and immortality.Sure,some gods,like Apollo,could bring up a decent show to amuse the heavenly beings for a while,but overall Hermes didn't have much to do.Things seemed far too serious,even after the Quest which those helpful demigods had undertook,one of them being his own son. Sighing and straightening up on the branch,Hermes got up with balance and,with his uncanny speed,raced vertically down the oak's trunk and reached the bottom in but a second.He wished there was some way to rouse up the other gods,to make them get less tense,so that it would actually seem like Mount Olympus rather than a funeral.Alas,a solution was the only thing which could not cross Hermes' quick,vast mind.Hermes sighed once again,his flaming hair dimming slightly with his boredom.Laying back on the trunk,he,having exhausted any and all remaining methods of passing time,decided to wait there in the Forest for another god to arrive.It seemed dumb,but the fact was that this was the only way to find a god who wasn't busy at this current time.The forest was the place for relaxation,so logically all the non-occupied gods would come here.

Famine stricken cultures still enslavedOf in the distance two distinct sounds would reach the messenger gods ears. One would be the deep rumble of an engine, and the other the faintest hints of music. Both quickly growing much louder as whatever the source of the noise was. A moment later, as the music became clear Hermes may very well have already guessed who was on the way by the half screamed, half sung lyrics and blasting electric instruments.
A moment later a massive motorcycle emerged over the horizon, and a even more massive man riding it. His flame filled eyes obvious even at this distance. It took only a second for the distance between the two gods to close, and Ares, shut everything off.
"Hello brother, Out for a morning jog it seems. Dad run out of letters for you?" He asked in jovial tone. with all the war going on down on earth Ares was in a good mood. Blind to the signs

At the loud,intrusive sound of the motorcycle,Hermes peeked one eye open in his laid-back position by the tree and looked towards Ares,who seemed in a surprisingly good mood.Hermes leaped to his feet,ignoring the fading notes of the loud music."A bit of an excessive entrance,don't you think brother?" Hermes inquired,folding his arms and giving a wry smile,"and I am not a mailman-even if Zeus did have more messages for me to bring to the far corners of the world,I wouldn't spend all of my days sending them. What are you doing in this place of relaxation anyway? Don't you have several wars to fight in?" Hermes said,his smile growing wider as he leaned against the tree.

Famine stricken cultures still enslavedAres smiled. "I have to leave it to the mortals sometimes, and if I get to involved then one side or the other wins, and then all the fun is over."
He tapped the handlebars of his motorcycle. "So I thought I would try out one of the new toys Hephaestus cooked up for me."
He slid off of the motorcycle and removed his helmet to reveal his long red braid and predatory smile. Ares set his helmet on the seat of the bike, and thumped down next to his brother. He pulled a flask from his military fatigues, and offered some to the god of travel. Blind to the signs

Hermes gingerly took the flask and sniffed it;after a second he nodded and took a small drink,then handed the flask back to Ares."Ahh,alcohol.Said to cure all worries and make your life easier-at least,that's what the mortals say.Doesn't compare to the fine wine we have here on Olympus,though.Ah,the foolishness of mortals." Hermes laughed. He looked over at the god of war and immediately turned up his nose at Ares' choice of attire.Instead of wearing attire that better suited a god,he had chosen to wear human military fatigues that made him look like a normal soldier.Why couldn't he have worn his traditional armor? It looked far more suitable and stylish,and the godly forging still gave it great protection.Hermes sighed. "Really,Ares,must you wear such demeaning clothes? You don't look like a god at all,more like an ex-soldier biker.Where did you get those fatigues,anyway?"

If i charge out onto the middle of a engagement in bronze armor with a long spear I would still kill them all, but I would have to alter the memory of every mortal on my chosen side." Ares looked down. "The American's gave me these A nice bunch they call SEALs. I rather like them. our dressing in lacking in pockets."
Ares concentrated, and his armor and clothing shaped into traditional armor and dress. "Is that better brother? Am i worthy to share a tree with you now." He said as he took a long drag and tucked the flask away into the folds under his armor. Blind to the signs

Hermes smirked as Ares crossly changed back into his regular armor."Yes,that is much better.You are now allowed to have my company." Hermes laughed mirthfully,putting his hands behind his head. "I suppose I wouldn't know about the practicality of wearing mortal clothes,as I don't have any use for that kind of behaviour. I'm a messenger,not a warrior,unlike you,and I have the power of godly speed,as you should know all too well brother.I do have this just to be safe,hoever....." Hermes closed his eyes for a second,and his robes formed around his body and on his face into an air force flight suit,complete with gas mask and helmet.HIs voice slightly muffled through the mask,Hermes grinned and said "Am I now worthy to share a tree with you,brother?"

Famine stricken cultures still enslavedAres chuckled at Hermes mimicry and change. It was a sund strangely similar to cannon fire. "Yes, that will do nicely. you can pilot the F-18."
The God of War rolled his shoulders and leaned back to relax more against the tree. "So have you seen any more of our dear siblings lately. The Mountain is almost devoid of life. And I didn't do it this time."

Hermes sighed."I unfortunately have no idea where our godly brethren have gone,I actually came here to the forest to look for them.They are probably all in the mortal world causing trouble.Knowing our great father and mother,Zeus is probably cheating on Hera again with some queen of a foreign land,and Hera is likely on the warpath because of it.Aphrodite is probably off recreating Paris and Helen with two unfortunates.I don't know about the rest of them though.Maybe your great old friend Kratos took care of them again." said Hermes,smiling devilishly.Ares would know exactly what he was talking about. Hermes changed back to his normal form as he said this,looking up at the tall trees of the forest as he did so and taking in the serene,quite peace of the landscape.
