In this world, there are two kinds of superior beings, if you choose to call them both equals. These beings are humans and +anima. The anima are often thought of as monsters and live their lives in secrecy. This is mainly because humans either use them or loath their presence.
In this world, there are only two ruling countries, Astaria and Sailand. In Astaria, they experiment on +anima for research purposes. Otherwise, +Anima are allowed to roam around as they please. +Anima there usually hide who they are, however, mainly because of the stares and reactions of humans around them. In Sailand, +Anima are sold as slaves. They can be given any sort of master and don't have any humane rights.
+Anima are usually born due to some sort of life threatening event. The anima, is considered an animal spirit that joins with the human to allow them to gain animal like qualities in order to protect themselves. This only happens in children, however, because of their continual innocence. Ones anima usual fades when they are safe from harm and are content with life, however, if there is a constant amount of danger the anima may never face, thus, it is possible for one to be a +Anima for life. Another settlement of people is the Kim-un-kur. They are a tribe of natives that revere +Anima and treat them with much respect, however, they are not liked by either country, thus, it is not safe to be there not only because they live in the middle of woods, but because of the hate the other countries have.

Now, war is raging in between Astria and Sailand, and the +Anima are in between. Sailand uses them as soldiers against their will and Astaria begs the +Anima within their borders to help. Some volunteer while others are plagued with the moral decision of why? Why should they help those that have always treated them like monsters and cast them away?

+ Please PM me skeletons.
+ You may be any kind of +Anima here and can be any age but your character must have a back story as to how they became a +Anima as a child.
+ Your character is allowed to be anywhere in Astaria, Sailand, or in the Kim-Un-Kur settlement. Please make sure that where and what they are currently doing make sense, however, because I will be posting by location.
+ Unlike the manga, I want this to have a warlike tone so violence is necessary. I would like everyone to have at least one kill-able character*.
+ This will be more modern, unlike the manga once again, so there will be different kinds of technology and more ways that your character could have transformed.
+ Your anima can be ANY kind of animal, even mythological.
+ Your character does not need to have its animal like qualities in its picture but please describe what it is like when it is in that form.
+ Also describe the tattoo that marks your anima please.
+ This is semi-lit so please post more than three sentences.
+ If you get bored and what to quit at least kill your character first.
+ Please do not use any of the characters from the manga, you do not have to read the manga to join this RP, just please ask any questions about things you don't understand.
+ Respect all other RPers.
+ I reserve the right to post more rules as I see fit.

My name is Malari Jane Larant. It may seem strange, but I am much like a Fennec Fox. This mainly is because I am that animal, or some form of it. When in my animal form I have claws and large, long and pointy ears. My eyes also become slits. I can move faster and am more attuned to desert locations. I am a female. My tattoo looks like small claw marks on my hips and are also small lines underneath my fingertips. Currently, I am in Asaria where I have been working as a performer. I have some fairly popular CDs out as well as some other fun stuff. I am 22 years old. I love to sing, dance, and write and hate cameras, and the stupid war. Please believe me when I say I just want to have fun and enjoy myself. I have never revealed my anima because I think that I will be rejected.

My name is Sigel it may seem strange, but I am much like a Kirin. This mainly is because I am that animal, or some form of it. When in my animal form I have long antler like horns on my head, dark purple cloud like puffs on my wrists and ankles and a long, what looks like, dragon tail with dark purple fur. I am a male. My tattoo is of dark clouds on my chest. Currently, I am in Astaria, where I have been inprisoned by a rich gang leader, who thinks I will eventually make him a king, i have been imprisoned for most of my life. I am 19 years old. I love to listen to piano music and hate the food I am being fed, the man who has imprisoned me and most of the other men who come to visit. Please believe me when I say I want to escape, to become my own person, not a good luck charm to a sleazy man, to be able to see what the outside world is like.

My name is Jace Niveau it may seem strange, but I am much like a Phoenix. This mainly is because I am that animal, or some form of it. When in my animal form I have huge red, orange and yellow feathered wings and have talons for hands and feet. I am a male. My tattoo is the chinese symbol of rebirth on my mid back. Currently, I am in Sailand where I have been hiding myself. If anyone finds out I am a +Anima they will capture and sell me then I will be sent off to fight in the war. I do not know how old I am, I only remember the past two years of my life. I don't have time to love or hate anything. There is only survival and death. Please believe me when I say that I want to just relax for once, and not have to look over my shoulder ever second of my life. I would also like to know where I came from, and remember what I have forgotten.

My tattoo is of a skunk stripe down my back. Currently, I am in Kim-un-kur where I have been having fun pranking most of the people. I am 21 years old. I love to prank stink people and hate trees.
