Double standards....they're everywhere, especially in race....but I'll get to that later

NONE OF THIS IS MEANT TO BE OFFENSIVE, I:M JUST VENTING!

One thing that has been bugging me is when it is okay to show pride for something. A city in Brazil has announced that sometime in late November early December time, they will hold a straight pride parade. The rest of the world is throwing a b***h fit. Even though I'm a homosexual, I see no issue with it. Let them do it, they're just expressing themselves. If I want to march down the street with my GF, it's seen as progressivism and is welcomed by all even though half the world hates it. If A friend of mine parades down the road with her BF, they are despised by the world as being insensitive bastards. When does it become wrong to show pride in sexuality? Is it when you're the underdog? It's an insult to the entire homosexual community. They're basically saying "Oh, they're a special case, and can do it because they're homosexual"...these things are for equality...making us a special case only furthers the issue!

Now we come to gender...Recently, in the fine state of North Carolina, a man was rejected by his insurance for coverage of his med bills for breast cancer simply because he was a man. Honestly I was shocked by this...This is the first case in which I've seen a straight white man be the victim of the double standard..oh wait, no it's not...but more on that later. The point is, his insurance, covers females with breast cancer, but not men. WTF is wrong with the health care system over there? seriously, switch to something like our NHS...under it, he'd get the help he needed, and your government would have more money to play with, seeing as NHS is proven to not only be better, but also be more cost effective...but that's another story for another time again...

RELIGION!
before I proceed any further, I'd like to say, I am a devout Atheist, but I do not hate religious people. I'm sorry if any of the following is offensive, it is not meant to be...any flaming that might slip out is simply from the heat of this vent.
A Muslim women punch a photographer in the face because she was in the background of a picture he was taking of a public venue. The women stormed over to him, demanded he give her the camera, he said no, so she punched him in the face! The man was then swarmed by Muslim, harassing him for the camera. He made it to the police, where he explained the situation. The cops couldnt do anything because the muslims could sue for suppressing their religious freedoms...This only connects a little with the next point, but, why is it that the whole world is quick to take a d**k in the a** because a few muslims get cranky, but when anyone else gets mad, they do nothing? It's so one sides it's not even funny! Why is it, if I go up to a christian and laugh at him for believing in god, I get yelled at and called a series of harsh names, but when I'm approached by a religious group asking if I want to here the story of jesus, and i answer politely, "No thank you, I dont believe in god", they can chase me down the street insulting me and shouting obscenities?

Okay, finnally, the one that will make everyone think I'm some puritan racist bigot, which I assure you, I'm not.
RACE!
WTF! seriously world! Why is it, that when a bunch of black people form a group, i'll use NAACP (I understand they do good things for the black community, not trying to throw them under the bus, just using them as an example)...so, the NAACP is founded, and it's the greatest thing in the world. If I formed the NAAWP, national association for the advancement of white people, I'd practically be crucified? This is the same thing as with the homosexual argument...making them special cases, offing them college funds just for being born of colour, and other things just slows the real progress. One year, at our school, we did a multicultural fest, where all the kids of non-English descent could show off their heritage...my GF is straight up German...and last I checked, that's non-English...so she gets her own little booth to run, cooks some of the food, and tells a little of the history of Germany's founding. The next day, she was called a racist and a bigot just because she was the only white kid with a booth. Why is it wrong to show white pride? Everyone else gets to show their colours, why cant I stand up and say, "Ya, I'm proud to be white", am I supposed to feel ashamed of it? what the hell?

People are stupid. There. Thats is your answer for why the world is so hypocritical and ******** up.

The law on the other hand, is something we can fight to make and change. For example, while the muslim thing might've been against their religious views, it should not give them excuse to physically assault someone. They never should've resorted to violence, and if they felt that a**l about a a damn picture they should've gone to the authorities first instead of starting a ******** mob. Those muslims should've been arrested for harmful assault and harassment.

Same thing goes for the North Carolina guy, as he's become a victim of the law and therefore should be compensated as such. I do wish we had Britain or Canada's healthcare system. Instead in America we have corrupt politicians pushing for an elitist society where only the rich are rewarded and the poor die in the streets. And these people call themselves good Christians... stressed Makes me ******** sick.
