Hello everyone! To kick start the opening of this new guild, I have decided to put together a little contest to bring some attention and spotlight to our new guild! As a lot of you may know, the guild right now is very new and needs a ton of work, and that's where YOU the users can come in and help (and earn some gold/prizes as well).



This contest is going to be simple. We need to build a large database of active members to participate in the guild. To do so, we want you, the members to invite your friends, create threads, and contribute to the discussion in those threads!



Each of the following on the right, from August 10th, 2011 (12:00 AM CST) to August 22nd, 2011 (12:00 AM CST) will give "tickets" to each individual user (please note, the tickets are not an actual item being given out, but rather, a point system). At the end of the contest, a raffle will be drawn and prizes will be awarded. The nine names drawn will all receive fabulous prizes!

Inviting Friends

Doing such is simple! Just send your friends a private message with a link to our Guild, and when they join, post in this thread saying who you invited! We will tally up the number of total people you've invited as the contest progresses.

Format to receive your Tickets


Creating a Thread

Threads can be created in the Main Forum by click this button: . Make sure that your thread is either Gaia-Related or General and follows the Rules and Guidelines. The thread should not be a spam thread, for example, a thread with only the message "hi", These threads will not be counted towards the raffle. Threads that are like, "What do you like about zOMG the best?", or "Avatar Display Thread", or Game threads will definitely be accounted for though. Check out this thread to see the other various thread possibilities you can make!

Posting in a Thread

Posting is simple too! Just find a thread in the forums that interests you and click this button: to post your own commentary on the subject! Please note, bumps in the Bump Thread will not earn you regular tickets, however, bumpers who bump somewhat often may receive an additional ticket bonus of 5 or 10 tickets at the end of the competition (See below) Make sure that if you want to earn tickets from posting, that you post constructive posts that are not spam!

Bonuses

Users who have actively participated in the contest and have not created spam will be more eligible to receive a bonus of 5 or 10 tickets upon staff discretion.

The Prizes

On August 23rd, a raffle containing all the users with their respected number of tickets will be done. There will be five draws. The first draw containing the largest prize, and the second/third containing the runner-up prizes.
