Welcome to the New York Dance Academy. A school were young dancers can train and advance in their skills. It is open to young men and women in their early twenties who wish to become professional dancers. The school is a four year program they prepares the dancers for the real world of competative ballroom dancing and might even give some of their dancers a name in the ballroom world. The students will train many hours a day and compete in competitions with the other students at the school.
This year, ten new dancers have been accepted into the Academy this year. They range in ages from twenty to twenty-four and come from all across the country. All of them vary in styles and personalities but they all have the makings of excellent ballroom dancers. It is now the beginning of October and the dancers have all been at the school for a month now. They have adapted well to the ways of the school and each amde friends and enemies. Some competitions are coming up but they still have a lot of practice to do. It's only the beginning of the year and no one knows what the next few months, and the next years, will bring. Some may choke under the pressure while others may shine. You have the keyboard, so make your move.
