She's the oldest of all the mages and the leader of the group. She's hard-headed and stubborn, but she's very smart. She knows how to stay calm in a situation and is a fearless leader. She has control over the elements, fire, water, air, and earth. She's known she was a mage since she was six and therefore has the best control of her powers than anyone else in the group. She is determined to defeat the evil forces that prey on them and has a pure heart. She is completely focused on her goal and sees no time for anything else. She's good friends with The Animal Mage and has known him since they were little. She has a small crush on him but ignores it since she sees no time for romance. She doesn't fully trust The Dark Mage like she trusts the others but she values his strength. She has no idea that the darkness is tainting her three male friends. All she is focused on is surviving through this and defeating the darkness.

He's the rookie of the group. He's only known about his powers for a few months now but he's the most powerful one in the group, but no one realizes it yet. He is able to telepathically speak to animals but that's all he knows about his powers at the moment. He is excellent with a sword along with a bow and arrow. He's known The Elemental Mage since he was little and they get along well. He can be a little impulsive at times but he means well. The darkness is constantly visiting in his dreams, trying to turn him. He has been having those dreams even before he realized he was a mage and is slowly giving in. He, at first, felt guilty about it but the darkness is quickly changing him. He still cares for his friends but he is slowly becoming colder each day. He knows that The Weather Mage and The Dark Mage are also in league with the darkness but won't tell anyone.

She's the youngest of the group. She is very timid, scared, and doesn't like what's going on. She sticks close to her older sister, The Light Mage, and rarely leaves her side. She has known about her powers for about three years now and is very close to fully mastering them. She is able to transform into any substance that she has ever touched since she discovered her powers. She has a crush on The Dark Mage, much to her sister's displeasure. She looks up to The Elemental Mage and respects her as the leader. When she was much younger, the darkness tried to control her but her sister's light saved her. Ever since then, she's rarely left her sister's side, afraid the darkness with try to take her again. She isn't the bravest person but she has the purest heart out of everyone.

He's known about his powers for about five years, along with his twin brother, The Dark Mage. He is able to control the weather and, thanks to the darkness, is very close to fully mastering his powers. He is 100% loyal to his brother and would never betray him. He is an excellent spy and normally scouts for the group. He is tricky and devious, knowing the best moment to turn the tables on the enemy. He is followed his brother into the darkness about two years ago. He is not as tainted as his brother but he is close to it. He rarely speaks to the girls but is close to The Animal Mage, since he too is letting the darkness in. His powers are strong and enhanced by the darkness yet he still isn't as powerful as his brother, something that angers him every now and then. Yet he would never turn on his twin.

She’s two years younger than The Elemental Mage but it doesn’t always seem like it. She can be extremely immature at times but is a king young lady. She isn’t the best with weapons but does the best she can. She discovered her powers a year before her sister, The Shapeshifter Mage, did and helped her little sister when her powers came in. She can control light and bend it to her will. She isn’t a fan of violence and prefers to negotiate instead of fight. She is extremely protective over her sister and rarely lets her out of sight. She knows how to have a good time and constantly tries to get the others to just let their hair down and have some fun. She doesn’t like The Dark Mage at all and doesn’t trust him whatsoever. She doesn’t like it that her little sister likes him and tries to keep her away from him. She hates the darkness and will never sell her soul to it. Though she has her doubts about The Dark Mage and questions if he truly is on their side at times.

He was the first one to let the darkness in. It came to him as soon as he discovered his powers and he happily accepted it. It has twisted his soul but he loves the power it gives him. He led his twin brother to the darkness and had never regretted it. He is completely cold and the darkness has fully taken over his soul. He also complete control over shadows and darkness and can bed them to his will. The darkness’s black magic strength his powers even more, making them very powerful. He is the same age as The Light Mage and a year younger than The Elemental Mage. He doesn’t respect The Elemental Mage at all and thinks she is a weak leader. He believes all the girls are weak since they aren’t in league with the darkness. He is somewhat friends with The Animal Mage ever since he found out that he too was with the darkness. Yet he doesn’t like how close he is with The Elemental Mage. He somewhat cares for his twin but would turn on him in an instant if he had to.
