He is the current leader of the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment (AKA the 2nd Mass). He was previously in the army and is determined to protect those he is in charge of. He hates the aliens and wants to destroy them in anyway possible. He was married and had two daughters. However, he knows his youngest is dead and believes his wife and eldest also perished sometime during the attack. He isn't a very open person and keeps most of his past to himself. However, he does care for The Teen Fighter almost in a fatherly way. He is a strong leader and very determined to defeat the Skitters. He is very serious and firm and doesn't take any nonsense. He sometimes values the fighters over the civilians and doesn't like having to babysit the civilians, but he will protect them at any cost.

He joined the 2nd Mass after his wife was killed and his middle son was taken by the Skitters. He has two other son, The Older Brother and The Younger Son. He is currently second in command of the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment. He was previously a American History Professor before the attack but has proved to be a excellent fighter, despite having little experiance before the attack. He has a vast knowledge of war tactics due to learning about the tactics used before in history. He cares deeply for his two sons but wants to rescue his middle son from the Skitters more then anything else. Unlike some fighters, he believes the civilians are a key role in the 2nd Mass and give them the need to continue fighting. He is also good friends with The Docter yet he sometimes clashes with The Leader, yet he respects him.

The Brother was previously a senior in high school until the attack. He escaped the attack along with The Father and The Younger Brother, yet his mother was killed during the first wave of the attack and his middle brother was kidnapped by the Skitters. He joined the 2nd Mass with his family and became a fighter/scout for them. During his time with the 2nd Mass, he met The Female Fighter and the two soon started to date and are still going strong. He values his family very much and wants to get his brother back from the Skitters. He was with his father and his team with The Prisoner of War's gang captured them. Though they managed to escape thanks to help form The New Fighter. He has a good heart but can be a little impulsive at times.

He is the youngest son of The Father. He has two brothers, The Older Brother and another one who has been captured by the Skitters. He is extremlly close with his father and his brother. He joined the 2nd Mass with his family and spends time with the other kids his age. He attends the school that the 2nd Mass provides and rarely leaves the safety of the camp. He wishes things would go back the way they used to be, with his mother, who perished in the invasion, and his other brother. He worries that his father and older brother won't return at times and longs to find stuff to do around the 2nd Mass.

She was previously a doctor and was the only member of her family to survive the attack. She joined the 2nd Mass and became their only doctor. She watches out for the civilians and makes sure they aren't treated differently then the fighter. She cares for the other people of the 2nd Mass but she prefers not to get involved in conflict. She rarely goes out into the feild and mainly stays at Head Quarters. She doesn't know how to fire a gun but she is a very good at what she does. She is good friends with The Father since they both lost some of their family during the attack and they have the same oppion on the civilians. She is very compasionate and believes people deserve second chances.

She was previously a senior in high school before the attack. She survived the invasion because she decided to cut school that day, otherwise she would have perished. The rest of her family also perished in the invasion. She joined the 2nd Mass to get vengeance on the aliens. She is currently a fighter/scout for them. She met The Older Brother, when she joined and the two soon grew close. They are currently in a relationship. She doesn't really like The Doctor's Assistant due to her obvious crush on The Older Brother, and that she just gets on her nerves in general, but she puts up with her. Although, she occassionally makes fun of her to The Older Brother in private. She was with The Father when his group got captured by The Prisoner of War's gang. She is strong fighter and is extremely brave in battle. She's a tomboy at heart and is loyal to those she cares about.

He skipped school the day of the attack and was the only survivor of his family. He managed to stumble upon the 2nd Mass and joined up. He managed to convince them to allow him to fight, despite his age. He is one of their youngest fighters but is extremly brave and determined. he doesn't let his age hold him back and is always ready to go on a mission. However, he still is a teenager and can act like one at times, but he tries to act as mature as possible. He admires The Leader and has great faith and trust in him. He sometimes appears to view The Leader like a fatherly figure. He is a great addition to the 2nd Mass and is an excellent fighter.

She was a pre-med student before the invasion took place. When she joined the 2nd Mass, she decided to become an assistant to The Doctor. Thus putting her medical skills to use because she was never much of a fighter. She is extremly helpful and outgoing. She wants to help the people at the 2nd Mass, whether the problem is medical or not. She has a crush on The Older Brother ever since he joined the 2nd Mass. However, she is jealous that he is dating The Female Fighter. She can seem over enthusiatic and too optimistic at times but she really is a nice girl. She just doesn't want people to lose hope in the fight against the Skitters.

He was previously a criminal before the attack and has been in prison. When the aliens attacked, he gathered fellow criminals and formed a gang. He loves to hunt the Skitters and has killed multiple on his own. He captured The Father and his team when they were checking out an abandoned armory. However, when The New Fighter turned on them, he was captured by the 2nd Mass and is currently their prisoner. However, due to his cooking skills, he cooks the meals for the members of the 2nd Mass. He is very tricky and knows how to use a situation to his advantage. He'd make a good addition to the 2nd Mass if he ever decides to join.

She was orignally a member of The Prisoner of War's gang before she joined the 2nd Mass. She was there when he captured The Father and his team. However, she ended up helping them escape and joined the 2nd Mass as a fighter. She's a strong young fighter and shows promise once she gains some trust. She knows that the others don't trust her but she's determined to earn her place. She is rough around the edges but has a good heart on the inside. However, she has trust issues, mainly with men, due to events that took place during her time with The Prisoner of War's gang.
