Discussion time!
So, these Advance Chance Item bundles... Are they really worth it? We've only had one so far (that has been released and opened).
The whole point of them is to get to "have" the CI before everyone else, but let's look into it, shall we?
July Advance Chance was released June 20th, a considerable time before the CI would officially release. That's all dandy. The thing that surprised me is that we only get to open them a few hours before the CI actually is released. Is a few hours really enough time?
I had thought I had heard it would open up one day before the CI. That would've made things more interesting.
Why is the ACI sold in the cash shop for so long? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?
Are Chance Items slowly becoming the new Monthly Collectibles?

I personally don't really care about the times, i just like to get them because they always get more cheap than usual bundles.
and i guess they do have a MC kinda feeling to them.
i am happy about the being able to have it right when it comes out though.
not having to deal w/ the craziness of just buying a bundle/single in the MP

I'm not an avid day-of RIG buyer (hell I only buy RIGs when I have money/it's my birthday or Christmas) so these are of little use to me. Maybe if I were to buy a bundle for 750k and make a short terrm investment and sell it for 1 mil on day of.

I can't even remember the last time I bought an MC, so yeah, CIs have definitely trumped MCs as my investment item of choice.
As for the Advance Chance? I'll try it one month, once I have a little extra money lying around, but it sounds like something I would like. 3nodding
