Not wasting a single second Alex was born in Montana eighteen years ago on June 15th. Her parents were horse-people, her father was a champion western rider and her mother was an Olympic rider and trainer. She has a twin that was born a few minutes after her. Alex was raised in the world of horses on her parent's ranch. The ranch taught both English and Western riding along with rehabilitating rescue horses. It was never easy, but, from a young age, Alex learned that nothing in life was ever easy. She was put on a small pony named Little Miss Sunshine, also known as Sunny, and learned how to ride. Her father taught her to ride Western and her mother taught her to ride English. The ranch was huge, over a hundred acres, and all of it was for the horses. On the land behind the ranch, was a herd of wild horses that ran free across the plains. Her parents boarded, trained, bred, and rehabilitated horses. They also taught classes on horse care, horsemanship, and other things. There was never a dull moment on the ranch, whether it was riding, training, grooming, or mucking out stalls, there was always something to do. Alex had always been a natural rider, having perfect balance and an amazing seat. She was known as the Horse Whisperer around town, even at a young age, since she never came across a horse that she couldn't make friends with. When her mother or father needed someone to demonstrate a skill in a lesson, they called on Alex. Even the older kids, and adults, that ever saw her ride always said she had a gift. She could get on any horse and in a matter of seconds bee moving as one being with them. Anyone who ever underestimated Alex was quickly put in their place.
At five years old, her parents started to let her help with the rescue horses. Since she was young, they only let her groom the horses that they thought were safe enough. Alex hated being babied but, later that year, she witnessed one of the grooms being sent to the hospital because of an incident with one of the horses and understood why her parents would only let her be around safe rescue horses. Most people would be turned off from seeing someone being rolled away with blood gushing from gashes and an obvious shattered leg, but not Alex. The incident with the groom only made her more determined to work with the rescue horses. She wanted to help them. At the same time, she was beginning to compete in shows. Her first show was a local one and is was a Western show. All the kids there knew her and weren't surprised when she took the blue ribbons each time. To Alex, the show was a walk in the park, as it was for the mustang pony she was riding named Wind Dancer. After that, her showing took off. She showed in English and Western events and never placed lower then third and normally came home with all blue ribbons. When she was ten, she entered her first state show with some horses. She was entered in the highest level for the Jumper division and was the youngest in the division. The other girls there taunted and teased her, wondering what "such a little girl" was going in this division. Alex tried to deal with them but when they started to talk badly about Peachblossom, a strawberry roan thoroughbred that had been a rescue horse after she broke her front leg, Alex snapped and gave the girls a piece of her mind. Though, the girls didn't shut up and said that Alex was all talk. If her best friend [Mister Childhood Friend] hadn't pulled her away from the girls, then Alex would have gave them a goo punch in the face. She hated being underestimated, even if those girls were sixteen and she was ten, it didn't matter. She was just as good, if not better, then all of them. Since, she was already riding at an expert riding level by the age of ten. She had expected it since there was never one day when her parents didn't work her till she dropped in a lesson. The division finally started and Alex was first to go. The girls gave her a few last remarks as she entered the ring, but those were the last remarks they ever said to her. The jumps were high, scary high, but Alex cleared them like it was nothing. She made the sharpest turns and made them look graceful and elegant. Peachblossom did her job by staying fast, collected, and balanced. They cleared the round with the fastest time and that was the last time anyone ever teased her. She came home that day with all blue ribbons.
Years passed, and Alex was still at the top of her game. Her parents let her travel all across the U.S to show and Alex loved it. Around the time she was twelve, her parents let her begin to rehabilitate the rescue horses. Alex started small with a few abused ponies but they were hard work. Some of them were fairly trusting, just sensitive in spots, while others were terrified of any sudden movement and Alex couldn't even raise her hand without them spooking and trying to get away. So she took the slow rode and spent hours just sitting with them, talking, and gained their trust after a while. It took a long time, but soon Alex had ponies that had once been scared of every little thing, eating out of her hand and following eh around like a puppy. The hardest part for Alex was not the training or gaining the horses' trust but what came after that, finding them new homes. Some of the rescue horses stayed at the ranch while others were adopted by other families that would take care of them. it always hurt Alex to see a horse leave but it also gave her a sense of pride since she knew that she had done her job and given that horse a second chance in life. Though, it didn't come with a price. As she got older and began to train more advanced rescue horses, they began to inflict serious injuries on the girl. At first it was only kicks and bites but it soon became full on attacks that would send her straight to the hospital. Her parents worried about her greatly, saying that she didn't have to work with the rescue horses if she didn't want to, but Alex was determined to. Every time she got out of the hospital, she went right back into the ring and began training again. She never let injuries hold her back and would cut a cast off as soon as she felt the bone felt healed, even if the doctor had told her to keep it on for a few more weeks. She loved horses and wanted to help them in any way she could. She loved training horses, showing, demonstrating for others, and raising the foals, but her favorite thing of all was working with the rescue horses, nothing could beat that. She had friends at school, good friends, but, to her, horses always came first. She would even cancel an evening with her friends if something came up with the horses.
Since she was a little kid, Alex's best friend had been Mister Childhood. They had known each other since they were ten when he came up to her at a local horse show. Alex had been showing a quarter horse gelding in an advanced class of pole bending and had been just about to go when Ash came over to her, with his horse. they quickly fell into conversation and clicked. He told her that he lived right by her family's ranch and she remembered seeing him in school at times. They became best friends quickly and they were the first two in the group. They had started it and, later on, the others joined. Though, Alex was closest to Ash over anyone else in the group. In fact, when they were older, she developed a crush on him but never told him. She trusted him greatly and even let him help her train some of the rescue horses. They taunted and teased eahc other, and, like any friends, got into fights, but it never lasted long. Alex knew she could trust Ash with anything and always turned to him for help. It was rare to see the two apart and Alex hoped that it would always stay like that. Though, she never expected her perfect friendship to come crashing down.
It had been almost three years, though Alex remembers it like it was yesterday. For the past few days, she had sensed something off with Ash and constantly asked him if everything was alright. He, of course, told her everything was fine but Alex didn't believe him. He wasn't acting normal and that bothered her. She just knew something was off. So, she kept at it and asked him everyday until he finally caved. The news he gave her was not what she had been expecting, his parents were getting a divorce. She promised not to tell anyone since she knew that, if he wanted to tell the others, he should be the one telling them. So, she kept the secret and supported Ash through the coming month, always being there for him. Then, the even larger bomb was dropped on her, Ash and his father were moving away, all the way to New York! Alex was devastated to be losing her best friend but made him swear to keep in touch no matter what. She tried to convince her parents to buy Ash's two favorite horses, Melody and Clover, but they had already been bought by someone else. Alex wasn't herself after Ash left, she missed him greatly. She missed having him by her side, riding together, and just the sound of his voice, she missed everything about him. They kept in contact and called each other once a week but it wasn't enough to Alex, she wanted to see Ash. Though, things, as always, were busy at the ranch and her parents couldn't let her go for a weekend off to New York to see Ash since they needed her on the ranch. Alex slowly went back to her way of life, but never lost contact with Ash and told him about everything. Even though they were both at different sides of the U.S, Alex refused to let Ash slip through her fingers, she just wouldn't let it happen.
Alex had been raised around horses since she was a baby and had trained dozens but had never had a real challenge in her life. She had trained horses that would try to attack you and got lots of wounds but known of them were ever bad, the worst being her leg broken in two places and a severe concussion, and she had had the rescue horse fully trusting her in less then six months. Then, Rookie came along. Alex found him when she was riding one of her horses in the woods. He was young, only two, and was a beautiful black Arabian stallion with a perfect build and elegant body. He was tied to a pole by a rope that was tied around his neck and had a bad injury from the rope. He was also starved, terribly starved, and weak. Alex suspected that he would have been on the ground if the rope hadn't been too short. He was all skin and bones, Alex could almost count every bone in his body. The field that he was was simply dirt and there was no water. Quickly, Alex jumped the fence and untied the stallion and took him home. The vet was at the ranch in a matter of seconds and was treating him. Everyone didn't think the stallion would survive but Alex believed he would, something was telling he would. She was determined to help him. After a week, the stallion had gained a fair amount of weight and was getting health back. Though, this wasn't necessarily a good thing. He was getting healthier, yes, but it also became evident that he had never been handled by a human before and was aggressive. When the vet came to check on him, he literally had to be drugged until he couldn't stand before the vet could even attempt to treat him, and even then he was still fighting. Alex named him The Devil's Apprentice, Rookie for short, due to his aggressive temperament and pure black coat. While others looked at him with fright and wnated him gone, Alex looked at him like a challenge and wnated him to stay. Even her parents tried to talk her out of it, but Alex wouldn't budge.
Training began once Rookie was at full health and Alex jumped right in. At first, she couldn't even enter his stall so, instead, she stayed outside and spoke to him. Even though he turned away from her or charged, she knew he was listening due to the movement of his ears, which were constantly pointed toward her and the sound of her voice. Slowly, Alex began to move into the stall but could never touch Rookie without getting bitten, kicked, or charged at. It was a slow process and, by the end of two months, she could only get in the stall and had to stay as close to the door as possible since he still woudl charge unexpectedly. After a few more months, Alex finally was able to lead him around and into the ring. She could tell that Rookie still didn't trust her and was always watching him since he was known to charge without any warning. Since the grooms were too scared to come within a mile of his stall, his care was all put on Alex. Things were slowly improving until about six months after she had found Rookie. Alex had been letting the stallion run on the lunge line when it happened. There was absolutely no warning and Alex was taken completely off guard when Rookie charged at her. She was knocked to the ground as the stallion attacked her. His attacks were vicious and brutal, leaving large gashes. She was lucky that she was wearing her riding helmet, since she had just finished riding one of the other horses, since the stallion inflicted a massive kick to Alex's head, knocking her completely unconscious. She doesn't remember anythign else except waking in the hospital, her favorite place in the world. Not. Her mother was right beside her and called her father and brother in. They told her that she had been in a coma for almost an entire week and had many bruises, closed wounds, and a few broken bones. They also said that she had been calling out for Ash when they were rushing her to the hospital, though she didn't remember calling out to him. Like any horsewomen, the first thing Alex asked about was Rookie. Both her parents wanted to put the stallion down but Alex argued strongly. Even her parents couldn't change Alex's mind and the girl wanted the horse to live, so he lived. She stayed in the hospital for almost a week before going back home. Once her wounds were fairly well healed, Alex went back to Rookie and restarted his training, starting from square one. Within a few months, Alex was able to get on the stallion but that's were trouble started again. The stallion bucked, reared, and did everything he could to get her off. Alex fell many times but was soon able to stay on and, when she could actually ride him, found that he was an amazing mover and had incredible speed. He also loved to jump and wasn't afraid of anything. He was also an excellent western horse. Their relationship was one built fully on trust and Rookie trusted, and loved, Alex with all his heart and Alex trusted, and loved him, too. She still has her old helmet, which has a big dent form Rookie's hoof to remind her how far they have come. He was her challenge, and she is so glad that she refused to give up on him.
Later that year, in May, Alex started to date Mister Boyfriend. She had never been one for relationships before and had only went out on a few dates in her life. Though, Mister Boyfriend was different then all the other guys at school and she really liked him. They fit each other well and he's able to handle her when her temper flares. They've been dating for almost two months now. Then, early in June, a new girl came to town. Alex first saw her when she was bringing her two horses to Alex's family's ranch and her mother told her that the girl's name was Samantha, Sam for short. Alex saw her the next day in school and talked with her later that day when she came to the ranch. They clicked quickly and Alex quickly introduced Sam to the rest of the group. Her new friend was quickly accepted and the two became best friends. Things were going great for Alex, she had scholarships to many schools, the ranch was doing great, she had an amazing boyfriend, and great friends. Then, as if the universe wnated to both make her life better and worse, he moved back. Alex knew that someone was moving in the house across the street and meant to go say hi but was occupied by the ranch. Then, a few days later, she was leading Rookie to his stall when she spotted a young man putting his two horses into their stalls. She thought she recognized him and was shocked when he turned and she realized it was Ash. Ash! Alex rushed quickly to him and let him pull her into a tight hug. She was so happy to see him again and filled him in on everything. At first, she didn't tell him that she was dating Mister Boyfriend but he found out later that night when the others came over to the ranch and Mister Boyfriend kissed her before wrapping his arm around her waist. Of course, Ash was invited to her party on the 15th and to the beach house on June 29th. When the played Spin the Bottle, she had to kiss him and all the feelings she thought she had gotten over, came rushing back in a flash. For the rest of the night, she tried to hide the feelings and kept close to Sam and Mister Boyfriend. She partly regretted inviting him to the beach house but knew she couldn't tell him he couldn't come, besides he was still her best friend. Though, Alex feels torn between her childhood friend and her boyfriend, since she has feelings for both, and now one of her friends, Lilly, is acting very hostile to her and she has no idea why. Though, Alex is strong and is determined to make this all work. Did we miss anything? Nothing!▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

Not wasting a single second Samantha was born in Tennessee, on a large horse ranch that was owned by a famous show jumper, who won the Rolex and got an Olympic gold. Her parents were trainers for Jodi Griffin, star rider and dedicated horsewoman. They were Jodi's favorites. They lived in a larger house on the ranch, and lived and breathed horses. All that couldn't help but rub off on Sam. Sam was allowed in the barn only when her mother or father was there with her, but she tottered about sometimes purposely unnoticed, because she was the grooms' and riders' favorite. She was loved by horse and rider alike. She was nibbling on horse treats when she was two, and then on apples and carrots when she was three. Her first ride was on a pony called Starstruck, who was as old as dirt and experienced as the saddle that rode him. Sam was a natural. She had perfect balance, even at her young age af three and a half. Sam was the star of the arena when she rode. She was truly inspiring.
Sam competed in her first show on a Thoroughbred gelding named Krypton. He was a large black horse, a great jumper, and an excellent mover. Sam had Krypton wrapped around her finger. No one could get that huge horse to move like she could. At the show, it was only her, her parents, and a groom. That was it. No one knew where she came from or who's horse she was riding. She was taunted and teased because of her size compared to her horse's size. But they were all proved wrong when she was in the ring. She moved so gracefully, so elegantly with her horse that she was the obvious blue ribbon winner. She only competed in two classes: equitation and jumping. Ignoring everyone around her, Sam honed in on the jumps on Krypton and cleared every one of them with feet to spare. For a seven year old, she was pretty darn good. She ended up taking home all blues, but not before everyone learned who her trainer was. Jodi showed up in the middle of her jumping class, and was able to see the flawless perfection of her youngest rider's performance. Stunned, everyone soon realized that young Alexis was trained by Olympic gold medalist Jodi Griffin. No wonder she was amazing!
Sam pretty much lived and breathed horses after that, just like her mother and father. They coached her and Jodi taught her, and soon, by the age of fourteen, Sam was riding at an advanced, if not expert, level. She was in love with English riding, and was never going to give it up. When Sam was in high school, she was the head of the equestrian riding team and took all the equine and animal sciences classes. Sam had known the moment she was around horses that she was going to be a vet, and Jodi embraced her ambition. Jodi and the vet taught Sam basic first aid, then how to recognize everything, down to the littlest poison to the most deadly disease. Sam was immersed in these sciences, and she probably saved more than one horse with her knowledge. Her parents were very proud of their little girl, nonetheless. For her fifteenth birthday, Jodi, the trainers, the grooms, and most of all, her parents, presented Alexis with a breathtakingly beautiful red Arabian chestnut mare. Top bloodlines, world champion, and potential Olympian. Only Jodi and the ranch could have managed this. The mare's name was Magic's Amber Dancer. Immediately falling in love with the mare, Sam spent every waking minute training her and riding her. Out on the trails, practicing dressage, flatwork, jumping, everything! Needless to say, Amber was a true champion. Every show that Sam took Amber to, they won blue and gold. They were invincible as a team. Amber loved Sam, Sam loved Amber. And nothing could change that.
But something did. And it wasn't just something that blows over in time. The county had passed a law on horse ranches, and since Jodi's was the only one around, they were bought out. Jodi and all of the horses, her most trusted grooms, and everything she owned cleared out. That meant Sam's beloved Amber, and the filly she was training: Arizona Sunset, a palomino Arabian. Sam was devastated. She and her family drove out the night that Jodi and her troupe left. Sam was left with only her personal belongings: a supple black regular English saddle, a Stubben brown jumping saddle, and a Rolex dressage saddle. Matching bridles that went with each. Four sets of black, navy, and hunter green huntcoats, breeches, tall boots, helmets, everything that a professional English showman- or woman- needed. And none of it would be of use. Dejected, lonely, and her life holding nothing, Sam and her family entered Montana. They moved into their new house, but the loss of her two horses hurt too much to even put up pictures and posters of her and her horses, of Jodi, of the ranch. Of her old life.
But that changed. Sam's father started a new job at a blooming tack shop in the town. He sold, made, and fitted English and Western saddles. He was the tack man of the town. He was popular for his work, and their finances bloomed. And to make matters worse? Their house didn't even allow room for horses. It just hurt Sam more than anything. Through the months, Jodi had been sending Sam updates on Amber's and Arizona's training and show status. Arizona was a spunky mare, and only the most professional of the group could ride her. Amber, like always, was easygoing and held her blues. Sam missed her horses dearly. But one day, something different happened. After Sam's phone call update with Jodi, she asked for Sam's address. Confused, Sam gave it to her. Jodi sounded excited, for some reason. Sam hung up the phone and explained it to her parents, who were just as lost as they were. Two days later, a trailer with the name of Jodi's ranch pulled up. Sam's two favorite grooms, Brandon and George, hopped out of the truck. Without a word, the opened the trailer, and there they were. Arizona and Amber were standing in the trailer, and in the tack room was a new set of saddles and tack for each horse. The horses were unloaded and Sam's parents set to work on finding a stable to board at. Sam hated not having her horses at her home, but who cared?! Sam's dreams were back- her horses were home! The grooms handed Sam- not her parents, but Sam- the bill of sales for each horse. They were hers! Not Jodi's, but hers! Jodi had given the two horses to Sam once they were settled, because she knew about her Olympic dreams. And now they had a chance of coming true!
Sam's parents looked into a stable near their new home, and luckily found one. The grooms had left the trailer with them, since it was Jodi's kindness that had gotten them that far. The grooms were on a plane back to Tennessee, and Sam's father drove Sam and her horses to the ranch. When they arrived, Sam was taken aback by it. It was a Western ranch, yes, but it was for rescue horses. Sam timidly brought her horses out, followed the hands, and got her horses settled. She left her tack in the trailer, which was allowed to stay at the ranch. It was then when Sam noticed a girl about her age, riding around. Sam smiled shyly, watching her, then turned away and followed her father back to the truck. The next day at school, Sam was the new girl. She sat at the back of all her classes, but was always the one who volunteered answers- all correct. Sam was proud of her 4.0 GPA throughout her whole school career, and it would guarantee a place in the highest ranked veterinary college in the world. That was Sam's dream college. Sam noticed the same girl she'd seen at the ranch in many of her classes, but styed on the outside, since everyone- including the girl- was in their own little cliques. Sam was used to being an outsider, but also knew that, with time, she'd make friends. And she was right! The girl she'd seen in the stable approached her at school and introduced herself. They got to know one another during the day, and clicked by the time the day was up. They both loved horses, Sam was an expert English rider, Alex was an expert Western rider. They say opposites attract, right? Alex introduced Sam to her friends, and Sam, since she was shy, stayed by Alex and didn't say much. But after a few days, Sam started to open up to her new life and friends. She was invited to Alex's party, and was probably the first one there, since she'd been riding with Alex all day. Not bothering to go home and change, she went with Alex to her party in breeches, a Rolex snug tee, and tall boots. But hey, that's what Sam wore every day! At the party, she got to know Ash, Alex's good friend from childhood, a lot better. She became good friends with him and found that they both liked horses. Well, more like loved. Horses were Sam's life. Horses were Ash's life. And obviously, horses were Alex's life. Yet Sam couldn't help but notice that Alex stayed by her and Mister Boyfriend's side almost all night, as if something was wrong. Working with horses, reading their emotions, and controlling her own had made her very keen to her friends' moods and feelings. She didn't ask Alex about it, but hopes that, if she wants to talk or needs help, Sam will always be there for her.
Did we miss anything? Sam sometimes underestimates her own ability about her skills with horses. She often talks with Jodi, and misses the brilliant woman greatly.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

Not wasting a single second Unlike most people here, Rogan wasn't born here. In fact, he doesn't know where he was born. His parents haven't told him, and he's never asked. Rogan is way different, he was adopted when he was very little. So he knows what it's like to be different, which makes him that much sweeter. Rogan grew up on a farm, not a ranch. He knows how to ride horses, he just doesn't have his own. Rogan usually rides some of Alex's and Aaron's horses. Rogan grew up on the regular farm, a regular farm boy, so all the farm jobs have made him pretty well built. He moved here in the summer before the 4th Grade.
A few years later, Rogan and his family moved to Montana. Where he met Aaron, who he later became good friends with. Rogan and Aaron play sports together. Before he started dating Alex he has gone out with a number of girls, but they all dumped him. To this day, Rogan believes that it was because of his skin color. He was seriously surprised when Alex said yes when he asked her out. Rogan knows that Aaron is stepping out on a limb by letting one of his good friends date his sister, and Rogan totally respects the fact that Aaron trusts him. Rogan has no idea why Lilly is treating Alex so oddly, and has no idea that she likes him.
The party could've gone better. First, Ashton came back, and he doesn't have good feelings about him. Rogan had to kiss Taylor at the party. He wished the bottle landed on him and Alex, but oh well, he knows she still likes him. Later Rogan went off with Miss Popular, Miss Actress, and Mister Druggie and played Truth or Dare. It wasn't that bad, but now he's looking forward to spending the rest of the summer at the beach house with his girlfriend. Rogan just wishes he didn't have to feel the oddness every time that he and Ash are in the same room.

Not wasting a single second Ashton was born in Montana, in the small town on Woodfront. He was born into a middle class family on the outskirts of town, not very far away from a horse ranch that rescued and rehabilitated horses. Ashton's parents had three horses of their own: two Quarter horses and one Belgian. The Quarter horses were named Melody and Magic, the Belgian Clover. Ashton was out and about, tottering among the horses as soon as he could walk. He especially loved Melody, a pretty bay mare. But Clover, the Belgian, claimed him as his own. Ashton developed a strong bond with all three horses, but rode Melody and Clover the most. Magic was more his mother's horse. Ashton was a natural with horses. He had a calming presence among them, and loved each and every one of them, flaws and all. He particularly loved rodeo and speed events. His family was well knitted among the horsepeople of the town- and that's how Ash met her.
He had been at a rodeo, competing in the mini barrel racing when he saw her. He'd seen her around the school halls, noticing how smart she was. He'd seen her around his house, since he lived so close to the ranch her family owned. He had just finished his race on Melody, with a time of 16 seconds. Good time for a ten year old. Being the naive and childish boy that he was, he wandered over to her, leading Melody. He said hi, asked what she liked to do, yaddah yaddah yaddah. They clicked almost instantly, and from then on were best friends. They rode together, did homework together, and got other people to join their group together. Ash and Miss Cowgirl were the two first people in the group. He's been her best friend since day one. Nothing could seperate them.
But no one said anything about mothers. Ashton's mother was having an affair with a man in her office. It had been going on for six months before Ash's father found out. Infuriated, he filed for divorce immediately. It was Ash's sophomore year in high school. His friends were all around, but Ash kept the divorce a secret from anyone- but Alex. Since she knew him so well, she knew something was off. Ash eventually caved in and told her, but asked her to promise to keep it a secret. A month later, Ash was yanked from school and moved to New York. Ash, and his father had to sell his horses. All three of them. His mother took Magic, but Ash lost Melody and Clover, his two favorites. Ash and his father had a townhouse in New York, in Manhattan, but it wasn't enough. Ash longed for his old horses and friends. He had only stayed in contact with one- Alex. He wasn't going to lose her. She'd been in his life for so long, he wasn't going to let her slip away. He called her weekly and was always curious as to how her riding, horses, and evertyhing else was going, but it wasn't enough. He wanted to see her again.
Then it changed. Ash's father dropped a bomb on him. They were moving back! Ash's father's company was re-hiring, and they had asked him to be manager! Thrilled, Ash decided not to tell anyone- even Alex. Ash's father bought a house across the street from Alex's ranch, only three doors away from their old house. Unfortunately, there was no place for horses. But it was a good thing that Alex's ranch was across the street! Days later, Ash and his father rolled up into the driveway of their new house. Resisting the urge to go across the street to Alex's house, Ash decided to wait until the next few days. The house brought old and raw memories: the loss of his horses, the loss of his friends. But he didn't waste a second. Already looking into new horses, he found two perfect horses for himself- a record barrel racer, Autumn's Call, a chestnut Morgan, and an ideal cutting horse, Dances on Black Snow, a leopard appaloosa.
Sneaking an idea, Ash made a call. Since their new house phone wasn't registered, and Ash could disguise his voice very well, he called Alex's house. When someone answered, he sounded very much like a prospective leaser. He set the prices, the dates, and all the necessary dealings. Two days later, he left to pick up his horses. An hour later, he pulled up in the ranch's driveway. He was met by Alex's mother, who led him up to the barn. He put Autumn and Snow in adjoining stalls, and they happened to be next to Alex's horses. As he out Snow in her stall, he turned and there she was. Standing right there, and his surprise worked. He quickly swept her up in a hug, then started asking her about everyone. Later on, he went to party with her and had to kis her during Spin the Bottle. It set his feelings on fire for her, but he still keeps them hidden.

Not wasting a single second xxxx Ronnie, too, was born in Montana a good eighteen years behind. He was born only a few minutes after his twin sister Alex. Aaron learned to ride alongside his sister, but she took to it quicker. Aaron just rides for the joy and fun of it. He doesn't bother with the styles as much as his sister and parents do. Aaron has always been protective of her, he used to come to her defense, but soon after he realized that she didn't enjoy that. He stopped doing that, he still feels the urge to come to her defense, but he resists it. When Aaron was about five or six, he got his first horse. He called it Ocean, but she didn't last very long. Ocean didn't act well to the treatments. Aaron was heartbroken, his friends tried to cheer him up. But, then came along Alex, she always knew how to cheer him up. When ever she had a show, Ronnie was always there, he was always there to cheer her on.
Years later, his parents gave Aaron another horse, this one, he called Rustic Sunrise. He still has her today and he loves riding her. He didn't doubt his sisters choice when she started dating Mister Boyfriend. In fact, he was all for it. Aaron is good friends with him and trusts him to not hurt his sister. Aaron loves sports though, if it's a sport, he's playing it. His favorite being basketball or baseball. He was thrilled when he got a scholarship, and, of course, he told his sister right away, before anyone else. And, naturally, she was happy for him. Aaron has become pretty good friends with Sam, and doesn't see the feelings she has. Ronnie hopes to someday gain the attention of Lilly eventually.
At the party, Aaron felt odd. He felt like something was going on with his sister Alex, but he didn't push. If she wanted to tell him, she would. They have that bond. When they played spin the bottle he had to kiss Sam and Taylor but thought nothing of it. He is really looking forward to the beach house. And is determined to be there for his sister, whether she tells him if something's up or not. Aaron wants to make this a great summer for everyone
