*sigh* I have a financial aid appointment I am supposed to be getting ready for now... I really don't wanna go. I just want to relax and not go to school while I am on my vacation from school... is that too much to ask?
Anyhoo, I better start getting ready though... they screwed up my eligibility and I need to get everything straightened out or I end up being broke as a joke this semester (more of a joke that I already am razz )

Grr...
1> I am completely baffled as to how I suddenly went from 8 forks in my dining set to 3. I know that when I talk to the only other person living with me about it I will just get an "I don't know" and defensive arguing.
2> Was supposed to leave this morning but am now feeling tied down because my mom's car is in the shop and she is guilting me into staying around to chauffeur her

I've pretty much been crying and panicking all day. I might have to surrender my 3 year old Maine Coon, Barron, for possible euthanasia tomorrow.
I took him to the vet and he needs emergency surgery, which will cost 2K or my other option is to surrender him.

i am so tired. my son has had a fever for 2 nights and thinks i need to hold him the whole time. that or he lays right next to me and he's so hot i can't rest. hope he feels better today.

Phoenixliv Ouch. You've had a hell of a week! I hope things work out and I REALLY hope your kitty will be ok! Yeah, he should be released this afternoon. I will have to quarantine him for a bit to keep track of his condition. There are still some concerns but, I'm trying to only focus on the positive: Him being alive! Teeshann i am so tired. my son has had a fever for 2 nights and thinks i need to hold him the whole time. that or he lays right next to me and he's so hot i can't rest. hope he feels better today. Oooh, how old is he? Has he seen a Dr. yet? I can totally feel ya on this. My son gets really "needy" when he is ill... sometimes when he's just tired or bored. And he is a natural furnace which makes sleeping with him while he is ill excruciating.

After being in the hospital from last Mon through Fri I've kept him in my room with a private litter box and food so I can keep track of his eating, drinking and urinating (since it was a UTI which turned into crystal blockage.)
Medication 2ce daily and this whole past week has been very taxing.
Also, start Fall semester tomorrow. Only have 1 class on Mondays and probably won't start working in the Art Dept until next week. I'm dreading the bookstore lines already. gonk

nekogeisha *sigh* my kitty is on quarantine and he is still not quite up to snuff. After being in the hospital from last Mon through Fri I've kept him in my room with a private litter box and food so I can keep track of his eating, drinking and urinating (since it was a UTI which turned into crystal blockage.) Medication 2ce daily and this whole past week has been very taxing. Also, start Fall semester tomorrow. Only have 1 class on Mondays and probably won't start working in the Art Dept until next week. I'm dreading the bookstore lines already. gonk I was so glad I got to spend time with Mr Barron yesterday and give him lots of loves and attention. Keep me updated on how his follow up appointment goes! When I didn't want to deal with the lines for the bookstore there, I just ordered online. Honestly I could get the books for almost half the price so I could afford to have 2 day shipping and get the books in a day or so. Have you tried that before?

Oh a rant and word vomit place? I think I might like it here.
So after a wonderful craft day with Neko and a few other friends, I got home and the hubby had been drinking. In the past I've asked that he at least tell me if he's going to have a few beers, so that I can mentally prepare myself to go home to it. He is not one of those angry violent drunks, unless I am around, because I hate being with a drunk. I have over 20+ years of being a victim of alcohol abuse, and for a man who says he loves me and wants to be with me, he sure does not respect that part of my life. So I have a rough road ahead and some tough choices to make. And right now I can focus on that because I have to find out what this lump on my boob is. Thankfully my insurance starts today so hopefully I can get in and find out what's going on.

And he is a natural furnace which makes sleeping with him while he is ill excruciating. he's 3 and no i didn't take him to the dr. it's just a cold or a bug. but i have it now too. you should hear it here. all 3 of us are coughing. my daughter is 5 and she woke up sick today. we went through a whole bag of popsicles yesterday. going to have to run to the store for more.

I contemplated banning it from my home but I shouldn't have to go to extremes like that. Sometimes I like to be able to come home and have a beer to relax. I just can't see the reasoning behind staying home alone and drinking, to me that is a sign of an alcoholic. I see a time and place for it, and I feel it should be done in moderation.
