Please post about your current or potential projects for this month.
I would love to get more time to focus on photography again. I personally opt for the 35mm over digital and my more recent work has been in cross-processing slide film.
Maybe I can roll off a roll before the end of the month wink

I can honestly say that my current project is recruiting new photography lovers. In the meantime, here are a couple samples of my most current developments: These were all taken in Albany, CA. I used slide film and cross processed it to get the interesting colors (no corrections or digital manipulations!)

I want to go to school for photography. I'm not much of a photographer (yet!) but I just love it. My favorite subjects thus far are nature and pets. My husband bought me a fujifilm s1800 a while back which is not an advanced digital but a step under. I wondered if 35mm is better my mom has an old Nikon that's out of this world! I've loved that thing since the moment my baby fingers could wrap around the strap (which earned a slap). Your pictures are lovely! The color saturation really gives them a unique feel!

Thanks! Ever since a friend of mine introduced me to the technique of cross processing I've been in love with it. The colors really give a unique atmosphere to the images and intensity that seems to "pop" more than just digitally altering them (imo.) I feel the same way with black and white film use in lieu of digital black and white. It has a granier texture that gives even the most minute objects life. smile

Kaielyn Testing out some collage and lighter colors on old work. Not sure if i will continue or keep it. Any thoughts are appreciated. *IMG* Well, I really like it. I think that the use of space is great. The collaged items aren't overwhelming the subject of the photo, which is great. As far as the color scheme, I think the colors are great. Imo, I think some of the darker values could be a little darker, to give more depth, and would still work with the pastel hues. Photoshop or did you use something else?

After sitting on it a bit i'm kind of disliking it. I think what i want to achieve is just more of an in camera effect with real lens flare. I have bad luck finding sunny days lately, so i haven't gotten to try any other shooting styles. razz

Yeah, the weather here has been... off. We've had record lows this summer and it's just amazing how fickle the sun has been. This past week was pleasant and sunny but, it was only a couple weeks ago that it was raining and the temp keeps moving up and down.

I'm somewhat partial to the shot itself, it looks "ok" in b+w, but i think it can be better. I started going through a lot of old photos though, and despite i did enjoy that models face, i realized i had a lot of stuff i can still use from other shoots. I'm pretty excited to dig out things i forgot about. Working with some really cool photos of a dancer doing jumps atm. smile

Phoenixliv I visited the Seattle Aquarium today! *img* *img* *img* *img* *img* I have to say while I do love sea horses and love the picture you got, the one of the otter is just too adorable. If I had a nice digital I'd get more pictures from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I'll see if I can find my Pics I took with my old Samsung and post them somewhere in the forum or make a link from my site.

It has a real vintage victorian feel to it. and the way the colors are muted yet pop is amazing.
