Hello All!
Thank you for joining us in our first month. I hope that, as people start posting, this can be an excellent arts and crafts community on Gaia.
I am in the progress of personally inviting Gaians, based on their crafting interests, which is a very interesting a long process.
If you were one of those that received an invite from me, just to let you know, it wasn't completely random (you are not just a number!)
I went to each profile individually and made my invite decision based on activity, interests and (after reading the details in the profile) whether I felt that you would be a great addition to this community. mrgreen
I am also in the process of setting up a monthly projects post for each of the genre specific sub forums, for each of us to share our projects (when applicable) that we are working on, or will potentially be working on, during the month. I've only got a couple of them up so, bare with me, I will get them all started by the end of the night. razz
In the meantime, introduce yourself and feel free to start posting!

Thank you for my invite. smile I apologize if it took me a while to respond. I didn't really notice the date when I read it. I was in the process of moving over 300 miles away from where I lived and had no internet since the 2nd. I hope to make some new Gaia buddies through here though. smile

I was in the process of moving over 300 miles away from where I lived and had no internet since the 2nd. I hope to make some new Gaia buddies through here though. smile Yeah, thanks for taking the time to join though! It's pretty hard knowing who to recruit and who not to recruit. I try to really read the profiles I come across to get a "feel" for a person rather than spamming EVERYONE that matches up with the interests. And doing this takes far longer on the recruit side of things since I try to find a balance between the internet and the rest of life razz Wow, so why did you have to move so far away (assuming work or school related?) I've stayed in the same general area most of my life and I dream of living elsewhere but it seems like it would be rather intimidating.

The house we were in was starting to have more issues than we could fix so she and an aunt of mine decided a senior apartment complex would be best for her. I've got my job being transferred and am now living with my mom and step-dad. smile
