ʂϯѳɾӌ MasterSlavery was a part of our past that all wished to wash away, the memories of the pain, the history, and the cruelty unto other human beings. Though forgetting the past renders one unable to learn from it, and so once more history has repeated itself... with a twist I assure you, and quite an odd twist at that. Some still don't believe what has happened SlavesYears ago creatures once thought to be no more than myth have came to light. Having seen the ways that human kind had adapted and grown they crept from their solitude into the wonderous world of light. Though soon some came to realize that humans hadn't changed. The weak were captured, the strong were left free and feared by the humans, but as years passed the humans werent the only ones going out and buying these slaves, these pets, these creatures, the mythical beings soon found themselves falling into the path of the humans and buying slaves as well. FreedomNow these 'Pet Shops' exist all over, all one has to do is look hard enough, past an ovious exterior and pay extravagent prices to get these 'pets' of all walks of life. Now with more laws trying to halt the trade and slavery of these humanoid creatures the 'pets' remain only for those who can afford a steep price. SlavesIn a small town, inapropriatly named SafeHaven, located close to the dwellings of many a 'creature', down a dark alleyway lies an elegant door that looks out of place in the small filthy alley. Carved in delicate lettering painted gold two words stay. 𝔏𝔬𝔠𝔞𝔩 𝔓𝔢𝔱𝔰. One only needs to ask to see the collection to get a peek at what really is in store. Behind the 'regular' petstore fascade one can buy or exchange 'pets' on a whim. Kennels line the walls in the back but not your average cat or dog are held within. So come on in if this all interests you, buy a companion, a maid, a butler, a gardener, anything you wish from Madam Gabrielle if the price is right, all buisness is welcome, and the door is always open. me a nice storyζαϝαӌεттε Feels so good being bad || Theres no way i'm turning back || Now the pain is my pleasure...Madam Gabrielle sighed softly as she paced to and fro in her office, folding the small note in her hands this way and that as she lightly gnawed upon her lower lip. Another threat from an unsatisfied customer, or would be customer at that. She recognised the writing and really detested the fact that that man had gone and done exactly what he told her not to do and threatened her. Shaking her head once more and heaving a heavy sigh she picked up the phone on her desk, pressing a string of seven numbers. It didnt take longer than a singular ring before someone picked up "Sebastian, I need you to pay Mr. Meyers a visit." she said in a particualr tone, cold and distant, a rare occurance in reality, at least to those whom she didnt work with. "Don't be afraid to get rough with him" she sang out a bit lighter before hanging up the phone, not even waiting for a resonce. Sebastian was her butler, he would take care of that nucence for her. Heaving a sigh once more she spun around before putting on a light smile. Time to make her morning rounds.
Leaving the darkened office up in the front she smiled slightly looking out at the pet shop fascade, little puppies and kittens were off in their own little play areanas, a pet shop to cover up a 'pet' shop, it was an obvious cover but it worked and seeing as at this point in time running one wasnt illegal with the right papers it really was necessary, but who knew when that would change. IT was just safer this way. Passing through a door labeled 'employes only' she smiled at slightly at the sight of the kennels lineing the walls. They were rather grand, could easily fit two people, there was even a cot and a change of clothes and if the murchandise was good, toys for their entertainment, and actual food at designated meal times. "Goodmorning my pretties" she chimmed cheerfully walking by the cages, pausing by a couple cages on her way to give a few little ones an affectionate pat on the head. Really she tried to be nice to them, and some actually knew how much better this place was than others but still some hated her. Others however like the six year old neko purring contently as she scratched behind his ears, enjoyed her little company and signs of affection. It was those few whom enjoyed her affection that she enjoyed most of all, escially that almost saddened expression that crossed their faces when she pulled away, it made her feel important, loved, for once. Though that feeling usually faded when the snide ones made some comment about her being a b***h for keeping them locked up. Still she was used to it. Strolling down the isle she looked from cage to cage making sure everyone was okay, even offering a little conversation to those who wished for it.

иoєℓkitten ~ Yesterday was history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today is a gift, that's why it is called the present ~ xXXxThe young silverette neko lay on his cot in the cage down towards the end of the isle heaving a soft sigh as the others began to wake with the morning and the gentle muttering back and forth amungst the cages began, really he felt like he was going mad now, being locked up in this cage for most of, if not all of the day. It was just so maddening going through the same motions everyday, waking around the same time, hearing the other mumbble back and forth amungst themselves, maybe being let out into one of the bigger cages with a few others, the 'play pens' as it was called. But most of all the lack of affection drove him insane. He just wanted a hug gosh darn it. Pulling slightly at the silver-ish white locks he frowned softly, watching them pull straight before bounce back to a soft wave. Maybe he should see if it should be dyed.
xXXx Hearing that familiar call of goodmorning he listened for a moment as some of the others perked up and others grumbled in detest as Mistress Gabrielle went about to do her morning round. Staring at the ceiling he closed his eyes for a moment, trying to keep himself calm and in place, but it was too late the urge had grown too much. The cot creaked softly as he slid off, crouching down for a moment before slinking towards the bars, lightly wraping his hands around two as he waiting for the mistress to come on down. He wasn't as perky as he had been when he first got here, almost lethargic in a way, being trapped behind these walls made him feel lifeless. He would admit he hated the fact that he had become one of 'those' people, clinging to the cage in search for affection, most times he could suppress the urge but now and then it would all become too much and that light hand ruffling his hair was all he wanted to feel, even if it was a vendors hand, even if it was the hand of the woman who had them locked up in the first place. Freedom to move about or affection, he felt like he was going mad lacking both.

From the start in your own way.  Chains Felix had been up for a while. The male rarely slept, anymore. He blamed it on the stress, though he wondered if that was really it or not. It was impossible to tell. All that he knew was that he wanted out, and he would do anything necessary. Unfortunately, nearly all of his tricks didn’t work in this weird little shop they were in. Not like they had at the houses of previous owners. No, he had to wait it out like the rest of the rather pitiful slaves that surrounded him. The vampire hated being lumped in with them, treated as just another slave. It was disgusting. He was so much different than the rest of them, at least, most of them in this shop. It wasn’t that Felix was self-centered. Everyone had their strengths and weaknesses. But half of the fools he was around didn’t even bother to make an escape, even when it was so clearly hanging in front of their noses. And that was what made them weak.
“Go to hell.” Felix couldn’t help but hiss as he heard the familiar good morning call from Madam Gabriel. She made him want to scream and tear all of his purple locks out once at a time. But he had forced himself to be nice to the woman, trying to charm her and gain her trust. It was worth a shot, right? The male couldn’t be certain if she believed it or not, but that didn’t mean that he was going to just let his detest for the woman show or anything. He sat by the bars, waiting for her to come closer.“You look like a rose this morning.” He purred, a soft smile on his thin lips. “How do you do it? I’ve never seen someone look so awake in the mornings, let alone so stunning.” His compliments were normally something like this, so thick and ridiculous, though his soft voice sounded sincere in every possible way. It merely took years of training, he supposed.
