If you have an onsite Avi Art or Profile Design shop, feel free to post a link here to promote it.
This also applies for Etsy or Artfire shops (etc.)
The only stipulation is that any self promotion made here be related to the guild. mrgreen

Your little amagurumi owl door hang is cute, and the penguin is adorable! Did you create the patterns yourself? I have 3 amagurumi crochet project books and I'm getting ready to dive into pumping out some cute little critters.

Free to use and easy to get around on even after their changes.. I tried Etsy, but after shelling out a few bucks I realized it wouldn't be worth it in the end lol..

I can't actually follow patterns. I know how to read them, I just can't execute them like they should be done... Pretty much anything I make is improvised my own way. x3

I like to use a pattern as a guide line, and also a way to learn new techniques. For example I'm going to try to knit in the round. One of the books i have calls for a Magic Circle, which I have no idea what that is, and the directions on how to do it in the book are horrible. I might try to post it up later and see if anyone can figure it out and explain it in English. Otherwise I'll be improvising on that one too! Neko showed me a really awesome way to improvise the pattern too, so as soon as I'm done with knitting my cuffs I want to give some amagurumi's a try smile

I actually taught ymself that one before even knowing it was an actual type of crochet move. XD

Kitteh Tig I love it. Free to use and easy to get around on even after their changes.. I tried Etsy, but after shelling out a few bucks I realized it wouldn't be worth it in the end lol.. Do you need to have a business license to start an Artfire Store? And please do post about the magic circle in the needle craft forum! I never used one before (I just work in the round) and the instructions in Kusanagi's book were not easy to follow and the images to go along with them were horrid too, imo.

No, you don't.. but now I dislike it.. they very poorly announced (nobody really saw anything) that all basic accounts as of the 15th will become buyer only.. my entire store is gone now. So.. Strictly on my facebook page now... I haven't had the chance to get on with my laptop, until then I can give you this link that explains it in detail with pictures. smile

I mean, as much as I hate ads and limitations, I know there is a reason for them being there and if I wanted to I can always go premium.

That's how they had it before.. and I guess they announced it in their forums on the site, but I don't know that people really use them *that* often...
