I have a feeling, by asking this, i'm gonna get a lot of hate mail, but oh well. Who is Crowley? Was he a Witch? Was he even Pagan? How credible are his works? I read about him on wikipedia, and i don't really think that's enough info. The only reason i'm interested in learning about him is because he, like me, is a poet and practiced magick.

Aleister Crowley was a very powerful magician at least for his time. As far as I know he was into Hebrew magick, and "The Golden Dawn" was taught by Aleister and compiled by a Israel Regardie. That's a good one to look into, however as a magician I have no choice but to voice a warning that the magick contained in the Golden Dawn is highly effective, and can ruin things for you fast if you aren't already well acquainted with magick as a whole. As a matter of fact, I may refer to Aleister's magical ideas quite often in my time here.
