♠ More About Lumi ♠
Name: Lumi
Name Meaning: Finnish for "snow"
Alias: LuLu
Gender: Female
Allignment: Lawful Good
Hobby: Humming melodies when she thinks no one is around, worrying, acting as a conscience, hiding in in her master's pocket
Personality: Lumi is a quiet, unobtrusive little dear. She doesn't like being the center of attention; it makes her feel all jittery and nervous, and then she starts stuttering. She has a voice that's paper thin, just barely above a whisper. Not to say that she can't be loud, but she rarely (if ever) is. Even when it's just her and her master, she's all mumbles and half-whispers, the volume only raising by a hair.
Lumi loves reading old story books, especially the ones with old wood-cut pictures. She has trouble turning the pages by herself, but she manages. Her favorite is the story of the girl without hands, an old Grimm's fairy tale. She remembers each story in vivid detail, and with a little coaxing, can be convinced to reiterate these tails for others. It's not that she wants to for her; she just feels the stories deserve to be told.
Little Lulu also adores music. She doesn't care much for songs with lyrics; she finds them distracting. She likes instrumental; pure melodious music without the unnecessary vocals, as she sees it. She usually picks a song for the day that she'll hum to herself as she goes about her business. Thought, the more people there are around, the softer the sound. Too many people, and she simply clams up, not wanting to bother them with her humming.
Lumi has an aversion to open and/or crowded places, bordering on agoraphobia. She's perfectly happy staying inside her home, or if she must travel, in her master's pocket. She doesn't mind small rooms or one or two people, but large areas like a store or mall and large groups of people cause her anxiety to go through the roof. If it gets to be too much, she has no qualms about burrowing back into the safety of the pocket or, if it's closer, a bag or backpack.
