Hi everyone~! (^u^)/
I'm new here (was invited by shouoto aya fan club) and thought it'd be only polite of me to introduce myself. Hannah is the name and I'm a huge fan of shoujo mangas. I have read some of Shouoto Aya's works and my favourite character would have to be Anise. I also read Shounen mangas although the former is my preferred genre.

I read both shoujo and shouen. razz I can say that although I've read almost triple the amount of shoujo, 50% of my favorite mangas are shounen.

Same! I like Ouran High School Host Club as well. Fruits Basket is a tear jerker, I'll give you that. I cried a lot whilst reading it. I think its perfectly understandable to watch shounen anime rather than read the manga. I suppose reading fighting scenes wouldn't be too interesting as compared to actually viewing the scene with added dramatic music and killer voice acting.
Don't worry, I'm a pretty eccentric person, I've been told so I guess that makes the both of us, eh?>UO

Hmmm.. By shortness, were you perhaps referring to your stature? It is no worries as I'm on the short side as well. Barely even 5 feet but being petite gives us lots of advantages as well. For instance, it's much easier to cosplay anime characters being dainty.
Stray Love Hearts isn't a bad manga. The protangonist, Hiyoki Kozue is simply adorable! I like how she's reserved and how pleasant her disposition is. Polite and courteous, I really admire her. She is unlike most shojo leads nowadays with their gregarious and extremely rambunctious personalities. Sometimes I find their outgoing and optimistic personalities a bit too much. No one can be that optimistic nowadays.. Ahh.. sorry for ranting.. I tend to babble on and on when it comes to anything related to manga or anime.

I'm actually 5ft 2...but the nickname was made when I was under 4ft 10. evil I love her personality. I have to say its really hard to find a girl main character that I completely love now. I like the rambunctious characters, but only to a certain point.

'ello! ^_^ I'm new to the guild. I usually go by Mora here, but my pen name for everything and nickname in real life is Angel. So refer to me with either. I've read 3 of Shouoto-sensei's works: Barajou no Kiss being my favorite, SLH and Pureblood+Boyfriend being an okay read, but is nothing compared to how much I love Barajou no Kiss. I read shoujo and shounen manga, usually favoring the shoujo side. -loves supernatural manga, but ends up reading a lot of school life types too-
P.S. I LOVE manga suggestions. Even if you think I won't be interested, suggest them anyways. I'll try 'em out :3

My favourite manga is Barajou no Kiss too! I'm not too fond of supernatural manga but I do love a good fantasy or adventure manga. What other manga have you read, if you don't mind me asking.
Side note: Have you read Karneval? You can read it on mangafox. It happens to be one of my favourite manga and maybe you'll like it too.

You're a very nice person and for them to ridicule you like that only means that they are immature or either jealous of how cute you are! wink
It is becoming increasingly hard isn't it? There are thousands of mangas nowadays but most of them are always almost based on the same bland personalities for heroines with the same old storyline of the protagonist meeting the "bad boy" in school one day. A series of 'unexpected' encounters leads the boy to notice the previously unnoticable girl and he picks on her. Then comes her prince,(everyone adores him) who rescues her. It then proceeds on with her witnessing the soft side of the "bad boy" and somehow falling in love with him. And then begins the struggle whereby the girl has to decide if she loves the "bad boy" or her prince.

Completely unrelated to that, I have noticed that we have many members but very few have posted. I was wondering, maybe we could create a thread for newcomers to introduce themselves.
