Leigh walked through the square with Myu and Yoh at her sides. "School trips offically rock! This is awesome! Look at all these cool stands." She said to her Pokemon with a smile. After shopping some she figured she would take them to the beach for a while. This trip would be a good chance for her to see different types of Pokemon.

 "Oh wow! Crash, look at all the sales going on!" Lydia gawked at the stands. Pokemon food, vitamins, boosting items, rare berries, pokeballs, trinkets, and more filled the streets. "This would be a great place to stalk up! We should really do that before the race, right?" Her little totodile agreed, amazed at the sheer size of the city and the old greek design it kept. Lydia had signed up for the water race with Crash as her pokemon partner. She listened to the sound of the city's market, the faint sound of music rolling over. "This is going to be so much fun! I wonder what kind of prizes there will be." "Nice weather too, right girls?" Amber came up behind them, placing one hand on Lydia, and the free hand on Leigh. "You should really size up your competition too before your event comes. I'm going to try each event myself," she gave a wink at the girls. "My buizle, Clover, will be my pokemon in the water race. she's my newest pokemon, but don't think we'll go easy on you either!" She laughed while her pikachu climbed onto her shoulder. "I think Fluff would be a good choice for our ground race, and Fernando for the Frisbee Catch. What do you think Lacey?" Pika! It cheered. Today was supposed to be a happy day. Not a day filled with the worry about the attacks by the masked man or for the safety of a now nearly empty school. Only some of the security remained on the grounds for investigation. "But I think we should get something to eat before all that!" Amber cheered with Lacey happily following her lead.

Karina came into the square when the eevee noticed Karina following it and turned ready to fight. "Alright kyle lets do this." Karina said as Kyle jumped down from her shoulder. "Kyle use quick attack." Karina called. Kyle rushed forward and hit the eevee hard. Growling the eevee turned and used Sand-attack blinding kyle so it could get a tackle in. "Quick attack again." She commanded and kyle once more preformed the attack. Staggering slightly the eevee did not attack instead used Wish to heal itself. "An Egg move...alright let's try this, Kyle use Force palm!" Karina stated as Kyle came close to eevee drew it's palm back and struck it and by chance leaving it unable to move. "Alright, now to catch this one." Karina said and took out a luxury ball tossing it at the eevee. She was tense as she watched the ball shake back and forth three times clinking to single the pokemon was caught. Karina smiled and picked the pokeball up and said "Time to get this and you healed Kyle." Kyle nodded and once more got on Karina's shoulder.

Akai Bara  Akai walked into the square, a large grin on her face, "This place looks incredible! I wonder what I could buy here..." Cherry ran up behind her, tails pointed in a bunch of different directions. She did that when she was happy. The trainer reached down and picked up her Vulpix, holding it in her arms. She turned, looking at all of the stores, before remarking, "Oh! I need some new clothes," and changing direction towards the shop.

Jace looked around at all the shops with a smile he loved to shop which is odd for a guy his Gible was staring awe struck at all of the buildings. Jace caught a glimps of someone familar "Hey Akai!" he yelled across to her before she could go into a clothes store. He ran up to her before she reacted to his yell "How are you today" he asked as wellHis Gible trooted over to speak to Cherry Hey seen any evil drifloons around he glanced around at other pokemon and trainers

Akai Bara Akai turned, startled by the sudden yell, "Oh... It's just Jace..." she said quietly before answering, "I'm fine. I was just thinking of going down to the waterfront: Cherry's my only pokemon, after all," she said, shrugging. No, I haven't seen that Drifloon, answered Cherry, which is not necessarily a good thing. I worry about it's trainer, she said, eyes glancing off towards the water, Hmm... I've never been to a beach. What's it like? she suddenly asked.

 Adrianna and Avian walked down the street, the red haired girl's cane tapping the ground quietly. "I need to get some Potions and X Speeds." She said to the Charmander as she went from stall to stall, asking what they had. After finding and buying several Potions, six boxes of Pockii, and X Speeds, she wondered what contests she might enter in. Walking over to a bench, she took out her other two Poke Balls and let the Pichu and Dratini out. Blink (Dratini) gazed about in awe, since she'd never been to a city before. Volt (Pichu) dashed around the bench several times. "I think I'll put you, Blink, in the water race. Volt, you could outrun virtually anyone. And Avian, I think you'll have to stick with me and keep me informed of what's going on." Then she passed a box of Pockii to each of the Pokemon before beginning on her own.-- --

Leigh jumped slightly and rubbed the back of her head. "I wasn't going to be in the events... Myu doesn't really like those kinds of things and Yoh is just a baby..." She explained, feeling slightly awkward about not wanting to participate, but this was supposed to be a vacation for her Pokemon and when she had mentioned the events to them they hadnNt shown any interest. She would be satisfied by just watching.

Kiba and Tobias begin looking around the town square. Of course, there is currently just one thing on Kiba's mind. "Let's see if we can't find a snack stand." Tobias follows closely behind as Kiba begins to look around for one. This was basically a fair, so there had to be plenty scattered about. He does eventually find one, and it happens to carry his favorite: Red Bean Mochi. Kiba buys a couple, and gets some food for his Pokemon. Eventually, he sits down to enjoy, letting Pyro out so that both he and Tobias could enjoy there breakfast.

Kitsu sat on one of the bench's littered around. He had left both Eevee and Totodile at the pokemon center while he went out to get some extra potions. He had also bought up some food to eat while he waited. "Ah, this is great. I caught a pokemon, and Eevee's resting up." This time he ad plans to enter the land race with Eevee. Win or lose, there was always something at the finish line. But now for his Totodile, what should he call him. "Hm...what should his nickname be? Or does he want one?" Perhaps that could be it, and all the pokemon he catch dont need a nickname. He placed the potions into a flap in his jacket, also checking what pokeballs he still had, or needed. At least he dident need to spend anymore money on items. He threw the box that held his food, or used to hold his food, in the trash next to him. WIth a big huff, he watched the clouds in the sky roll through the sky.

 Vince made his way through town with his arms folded behind his head. He was lost in thought as he watched the clouds go by. He took each step very slowly. He wasn't in a hurry for anything so why not take everything in at a slower pace. He had somewhat of a gloomy expression when he day dreams which makes most people look away and ignore him. It never bothered Vince, however, he sort of liked it better that way. After living so long in solitude, he kind of accepts being alone now rather than resent it. It was an odd way of life, but he wouldn't want it any other way.
Psyduck followed him all the way to the city square. He made sure to stay far enough back so he wouldn't be spotted. Psyduck saw it all as a big game and it excited him.

I may seem like a regular girl, but my soul rests on a thin line between humanity…
… and insanity.  Now out in the middle of the town square, Corphish turned to face Athena and her pokemon, in a ready stance. Eyebrow raised again, she got what it was wanting to do, and smiled at it. She returned Feebas, Surskit, and Poochyena to their pokeballs. Ordering Gastly out onto the battlefield, he also readied himself for the battle at hand. ”Alright then, since you want to battle. Gastly, use Curse!” A huge screw that magically appeared out of no where, started to dig into Gastly, eating away at his health points, then once he was done to exactly half, it appeared next to the wild Corphish and placed an energy-sucking Curse onto her. Yes, it did infact put him at an automatic disadvantage, but in four turns Corphish will faint, so it evened out.
The wild Corphish retaliated with a ViceGrip, but ended up going right through his gaseous body. He chuckled evilly, then Lick'ed her, dealing only a small amount of damage. The Curse took effect, and the Corphish cringed from a sudden pain/damage lose. Gastly was laughing happily at the Corphish's suffering, floating upside down in a form of battle taunt. Her little eyes widened, knowing that she was going to loose, she let out a Bubble attack at Gastly, doing a bit of damage but not enough to get Athena to worry. "Gastly, Hypnosis let's go!" A wave of psychic energy eminated from the ghostly pokemon, putting the Corphish to sleep in seconds. Another round of the Curse attack kicked in, and a spasm of pain shot through the Corphish as more damage was sucked out of her. Now that they were even, Gastly Lick'ed her again, dealing even more damage to her. The spasm of pain shook her entire body, at the third round of Curse.
Being a patient person, Athena ordered once more, "Gastly, use Lick once more!" Doing as she ordered, he Lick'ed the Corphish once again and she fainted.
Athena grabbed a Heal Ball from her bag and tossed it at the now fainted Corphish. It wiggled a few times and clicked without any form of struggle. "That was easy." She thought to herself, picking up the pokeball. 
…A fire burns inside of me,
a burning desire to kill...
